International Protocol: Insights for Human Behavior Development

As it has been said, protocol is the official procedure or system of rules governing affairs of state or
diplomatic occasions. It is a form of ceremony and etiquette observed by diplomats and heads of state
or simply put, its a code of correct conduct.

Last Tuesday, January 28,2014, at the AVR room 7 & 8 a very inspiring and thoughts fulfilling seminar
was conducted with the presence of our well respected and beloved professor Dir. Salvador Avez and
his beautiful wife Dr. Luvismin Avez .

The speaker of that said seminar was a brilliant and inspiring man, Mr. Mehmet R. Derindag. He
mostly talk about what are the protocols use in international affairs or conventions. I learned from him
that protocol itself is a code of conduct. Protocol doesnt limit of who is rich or not. Protocol has no
exemptions and should be followed by everyone and because of protocols harmony would be possible.
He also talk about the various etiquette or the customary code of polite behavior in society or among
members of a particular profession or group. I learned from hin also that we differ from culture to
culture and we must be cognizant of who's gonna be our guest. We should be aware of his culture in
order not to cause trouble or offend them. Furtheremore, etiquette should be observe in all occasions in
order not to be offended or offend somebody.
