Top announcers will call CNR
Randy Corley
The voice behind the microphone is Randy Corley and
frequent Announcer of the Year Randy
Corley, a fixture at the Caldwell Night Hadley Barrett
Rodeo.
Fans say Corley’s informative yet
personal style of announcing gives them
the feeling that he is sitting in the seat
right next to them. For 30 years, he has
stood behind the microphone at rodeos
of all sizes.
He has had the prestigious honor of
announcing the National Finals Rodeo
in Las Vegas 10 different times. His
schedule runs year-round, working 25
to 30 rodeos per year with nearly 150
performances.
Corley rode bucking horses and
bulls in his youth, and his love for the
sport came naturally. Upon gradua-
tion from the Ron Bailey School of
Broadcast and work as a radio disc
jockey, Corley moved into the ranks of
rodeo announcing. Within the first five
years of announcing, Corley had already
received his first award as Announcer
of the Year. The awards since then have
been numerous, but Corley will be the did not allow them to continue, in lieu
