Here is your challenge: Find a group of three or four people and give a different coloured counter to each team member. Work out
who gets to go first by identifying which month each team member has their birthday. The person with the earliest birthday in the
calendar year goes first, then the person with the next birthday and so forth. Each player starts on Question 1 and is awarded points
according to the quality of their responses. Each player moves forward the number of points they are awarded. All answers need to be
correct before scoring any points. The winner is the first person to move past the last question. Lets get started!

Teacher notes:
This quiz game is best taught at the end of a unit of work and could be used for assessment purposes, as well as fun.
This activity enables the teacher to identify students with high level knowledge of the Bible, as well as students who
are deep thinkers and capable of higher order thinking. The questions could also be changed for more capable
students to target specific teaching about the Bible or about a particular text.

The point system could be enlarged onto an A4 page for student reference.

Teams award points according to the following criteria:


1 point A correct answer without any other information (Very basic)
2 points An answer with limited details (Okay)
3 points An answer with a few interesting details (Very good)
4 points An answer with considered thought and information (Great thinking!)
5 points An answer with evidence to support ideas and shows excellent thinking (Awesome ideas)

Acceptable responses would include:
