Abstract

Teachers cross competences are the concern of proposed training programs and target leadership,
organization, control and evaluation, participation, personal development, team work and conflict
resolution and negotiation. For teachers in particular skill areas such as IT, implementation of projects
and labor laws are targeted, because initial training in the Romanian educational system does not
provide a solid base for teachers who do not have any other choice but to consolidate these issues
through continuing education. Trends in teacher training are geared towards enhancing initial training
and a diverse offering for continuous development is required so as to cover the entire range of cross
competences.

headmaster
The modern approach in educational management focuses on concepts like
efficiency, progress, planning etc. The manager is required to have skills like
forecasting, organization and training, monitoring and evaluation. To achieve these
objectives effectively, the manager can delegate responsibilities to competent people,
but they can further improve their performance in order to streamline the work of the
entire school organization. Using the Internet helps facilitate activities specific to
educational management. Thus to achieve effective planning, the educational manager
can use the Internet to seek additional information on legislation, curriculum,
assessment and so on. They can quickly and efficiently consult the regulations and
proposals of the ministry to draft the curriculum of the school through the application
of the national curriculum and the regional / local development of curriculum,
drafting extracurricular activities and school competitions, and also drafting the
budget and procurement projects for their school section. The educational manager
can use the Internet to identify extra-budgetary funding sources, can draw inspiration
and can achieve effective proposals for paperwork for school construction and repair.
The Internet supports the dissemination of information, communication, and even
facilitates the project of developing human resources for both the teaching staff and
non-teaching personnel. Using the Internet the educational manager can identify the
needs of the local community and the possibilities of meeting those educational needs
within the existing regulatory framework, using the available resources to consult the
websites of relevant institutions in the field, or by disseminating the educational
institution needs, the needs of students, teachers and even parents as well as their
achievements, through the supervision and management of the school website.
Regarding the organization work, the educational manager uses the Internet for the
selection and even rapid procurement of official curriculum documents, textbooks,
curricular aids (exercise notebooks, collections of texts and problems, plans, maps,
slide sets, etc.), library books and ancillary equipment through online orders. He/she
