open. AIS fought hard in
the 3rd quarter where they
scored more points than
TASIS.
TASIS relied on their
speed, and smart passes to
get under the basket
quickly. Once they were
under the basket AIS did
everything they could, but
their shots still fell. TASIS
had a special inbound play
which really confused the
AIS players and gave the
Royalty a great advantage.
All in all it was a great
game for both teams.

Silverbacks are out of

The STJ Lions made
a mind-blowing comeback
They played hard and the
result was rewarding with a
45-22 win for the Lions.
Their opponents, ISH, aka
the Silverbacks, fought a
heroic battle until the end.
At half time the
scoreboard showed 21-10
for the Lions, from then on
the Lions constantly
remained in the lead. They
went on a run with a good
amount of 3-pointers, 5
treys and one 3-point play.
STJ relied mostly on their
strong outside shooting,
since ISH played with a 2-3
zone. STJ also depends on
their rebounds and their
cunning put backs.
ISH could turn the
game over, if they had fewer
turnovers. The Silverbacks
had 2 treys, but they
depend a lot on their open
shots, which was a problem
since the Lions played a
man to man defense.
Things were beginning to
brighten considerably for
the Silverback in the 4th
quarter when their shots
began to fall.
In the end both
teams held their heads up
high and smiles were
shining bright. Coaches
were satisfied with their
teams hard effort and
determination. Through our
eyes both teams won and
we wish to congratulate
them.
