story of a proper-
ty owner who did
a great job of set-
ting up a vine-
yard, but he
made a deadly mistake by leasing the property out
to some really bad tenant farmers. After the tenants
rejected all the owners attempts to collect, he sent
his own son to do the job. They killed him.
We easily can see the parallel story of Gods crea-
tion and the coming of Jesus. He was also killed. Je-
sus himself was the stone which was rejected. And
he is now the cornerstone of the church.
Grab your rake and your hoe. We are the tenant
farmers of an earthly paradise. If we dont want to
lose it, we better start planting. Otherwise the king-
dom will be taken from us and given to others who
