GLANCE AT OUR SCHOOL
Maui is the second largest of the eight main islands of Hawaii
140,000+ permanent residents, with around 15,000 in West Maui
Japanese visitors/students to Maui pass through Honolulu International Airport (HNL) on
Oahu, and then take a 25-minute flight to Maui (OGG Kahului); the airport is a 45-minute
drive to Maui Prep.
Hawaiis average temperature is between 24-29 C throughout the year; summer is
warmer and drier, while winter is a bit cooler.
Maui Preps campus is 22.5 acres, located in Napili, Maui, Hawaii

PLCs (MPA)
At Maui Prep, our PLC is an ongoing process in which our educators work
collaboratively in recurring cycles of collective inquiry and action research to
achieve better results for the students they serve.

We are always focused on student learning. However, in the past 12 months, our
schools PLC has been taking particular interest in the social and emotional
learning (SEL) of our students.
