1 Basic Knowledge

1.1 Brief introduction


Thank you for choosing our GSM/GPRS digital
mobile phone. You may read this User’s Manual to fully
understand the use of M200S mobile phones, perfect
functions and simple operations methods.
This mobile phone was designed for the GSM/GPRS
network environment. Apart from its basic calling functions,
it can provide you with various kinds of functions, such as
dual-SIM and dual-standby, Chinese/English input,
handwriting input, name-card-folder type phonebook,
incoming call sound and picture, 64 melody bell sound,
SMS/MMS, chat, camera, MP3/MP4 player, mobile TV,
FM radio, FM recorder, alarming clock, calculator, auto
ON/OFF, speed sensor, slide locker, calendar, memo, world
time, E-Book, stopwatch, Bluetooth, call sectary, T-Flash,
GPRS/STK, etc. Thus it can bring convenience to your
daily work and recreational activities. In addition, this
phone adopts individualized human-machine interface
whose perfect functions can satisfy your different needs.
This phone complies with GSM/GPRS technical

standard and gets the certifications of overseas and
domestic authorities.
Some service and functions in this manual depend on
the network and preset service, and thus some menu
options might not be available, the shortcuts might be also
different in different phones.
Our company reserves the right to alter this USER’S
MANUAL without any notice in advance.

1.2 Safety Notices


„ If your mobile is lost or stolen, you shall promptly
notify the telecommunication department or the
related distribution agency so as to prohibit the use of
the lost phone. This will prevent you from economic
loss which may be caused by the unauthorized use of
your phone.
„ In order to avoid the unauthorized use of your mobile
phone, you can take preventive measures, such as:
ƒ Set the PIN code for the SIM card your phone and
change it if other person has known it.
ƒ When you leave the vehicle, you shall not put the
phone in the place which can be easily found.
You’d better take it with you or put it in the locked
suitcase.
ƒ Set the restrictions for calling.

1.3 Safety warning and precautions
Before you use this mobile phone, please read these
precautions carefully so as to guarantee the safe and correct
use of your phone.
1.3.1 Common precautions
„ You can only use the battery and the battery
discharge designated by our company for your
mobile phone. If other products not designated are
used, it may cause liquid leaking of the battery,
overheating, explosion and fire.
„ Please don’t strike, vibrate or throw the mobile
phone so as to avoid failure of the phone or fire.
„ Please don’t put the mobile phone into the
microwave oven or high-pressure equipment.
Otherwise, it may cause the damage of the electric
circuit, fire or other accidents.
„ Please don’t use the mobile phone at the places
with flammable and explosive gases. Otherwise, it
may cause the failure of the mobile phone or fire.
„ Please don’t put the mobile phone at the places
with high temperature, high humidity or plenty of
dust. Otherwise, it may cause the failure of the
mobile phone.
„ Please don’t put the mobile phone at the places
within the reach of the children. Otherwise, it may
cause physical injury as the children take it as a
toy.
„ Please don’t put the mobile phone on the uneven

or unstable surface so as to prevent it from falling,
which may cause failure or damage.
1.3.2 Precautions for using the mobile phone
„ Please shut off your mobile phone at the places
where mobile phones are prohibited to use, such
as in the airplane, hospital, etc. for the use of
mobile phone may affect the normal work of the
electronic equipment and medical instrument. If
the mobile phone is used in such places, you shall
follow the related regulations stipulated for them.
As the mobile phone has the function of
automatic power-on, please check the setting of
the alarming clock so as to make sure your
mobile phone won’t be automatically powered on
during the flying of the airplane.
„ Please don’t use the mobile phone at places with
weak signals or high-precision electronic
equipment. The interference of the radio wave
may cause the wrong operation and other
problems of the electric equipment. Special
attention shall be paid when the mobile phone is
close to the following equipment: hearing aid,
pacemaker and other medical electronic
equipment, fire detector, automatic gates and
other automatic control devices. For the details
over the affection on pacemaker and other
medical electronic equipment, please make
inquiries from the equipment’s manufacturer or
the local distributor.
„ Please don’t apply force on the SCREEN or use it

to strike on other things. Otherwise, the SCREEN
plate may be damaged or its liquid may be leaked.
The liquid of the LCD goes into the eyes, it may
cause ablepsia. In this case, you shall wash the
eyes with clean water immediately (never knead
the eyes with hands) and go to the hospital for
medical help.
„ Please don’t disassemble or refit the mobile
phone. Otherwise, it may cause the damage,
electric leakage and circuit failure of the mobile
phone.
„ In few cases, the use of mobile phone in the
vehicles of some models may cause improper
influence to the electronic equipment. In such a
case, please don’t use the mobile phone so as to
guarantee the safety.
„ Please don’t use the pin, end of the pen or other
sharp articles to press the keys. Otherwise, it may
cause physical injuries.
„ Please don’t use the mobile phone when its
antenna is damaged. Otherwise, it may cause
physical injuries.
„ Please don’t make the mobile phone get close to
the magnetic objects like the magnetic card as the
radiation wave may delete the information stored
in the floppy, store value card and credit card.
„ Please keep the small metal articles like the
drawing pin far from the phone receiver as the
speaker can produce magnetism during work,
which may suck small metal articles and thus
cause the physical injury or the damage of the

mobile phone.
„ Please keep the mobile phone from humidity as
the water or other liquid will cause overheating,
electricity leakage or failure if it goes into the
mobile phone.
1.3.3 Precautions for using the battery
„ Please don’t put the battery into the fire.
Otherwise, the battery will get burned or explode.
„ When loading the battery, please don’t apply
excessively force. Otherwise, it may cause the
liquid leakage, overheating and fire.
„ Please don’t use the electric wire, pin and other
metal articles to give the battery short circuit, nor
put the battery together with the necklace and
other metal articles. Otherwise, it may cause the
liquid leakage, overheating, cracking by
explosion and fire.
„ Please don’t weld the terminal on the battery.
Otherwise, it may cause the liquid leakage,
overheating, cracking by explosion and fire.
„ If the liquid of the battery goes into the eyes, it
may cause ablepsia. In this case, you shall wash
the eyes with clean water immediately and never
knead the eyes with hands. And then go to the
hospital for medical help.
„ Please don’t disassemble or refit the battery.
Otherwise, it may cause the liquid leakage,
overheating, cracking by explosion and fire.
„ Please don’t use battery or put it at the places

with high temperature like the fire or heating
devices. Otherwise, it may cause the liquid
leakage, overheating, cracking by explosion and
fire.
„ During the use, discharging or storing of the
battery, if any abnormal phenomena, such as
temperature rise, color change, deforming and so
on, you shall suspend the use of the battery and
replace it with a new battery.
„ If the liquid of the battery contacts the skin or
clothes, it may injure the skin. In this case, you
shall wash it with clean water immediately and, if
necessary, go to the hospital for medical help.
„ If the liquid of the battery is leaking or sending
out strange odor, please remove it from the
flaming fire immediately so as to avoid fire and
cracking by explosion.
„ Please keep the battery away from humidity.
Otherwise, it may cause overheating, smoke and
erosion for the battery.
„ Please don’t use or put the battery at the places
with high temperature like in the sunlight or near
the vehicle. Otherwise, it may cause the leakage
of the battery liquid or overheating, which may
deteriorate its performance and shorten its
lifetime.
„ Please don’t charge the battery for more than 24
consecutive hours.
1.3.4 Precautions for using the battery charger
„ Please use power with 220V AC. If other

voltages are used, it may cause electricity leakage,
fire as well as the damage to the mobile phone
and battery charger.
„ The short circuit of the battery charger is
prohibited. Otherwise, it may cause electric shock,
smoke and the damage to the charger.
„ Please don’t use the battery charger when its
cable is damaged. Otherwise, it may cause fire
and electric shock.
„ Please remove the dust accumulated on the power
socket.
„ Please don’t put any container with water near
the battery charger so as to avoid overheating,
electricity leakage or failure of the battery
charger caused by the spilt water.
„ If the battery charger has contacted the water or
other liquid, you shall pull out the plug from the
socket immediately so as to avoid overheating,
fire, electric shock and failure of the battery
charger.
„ Please don’t disassemble or refit the battery
charger. Otherwise, it may cause the personal
injury, electric shock, fire and damage of the
battery charger.
„ Please don’t use the battery charger at the places
with high humidity like in the bathroom.
Otherwise, it may cause the electric shock, fire
and damage of the battery charger.
„ Please don’t use the wet hands to contact the
battery charger, electric wire and power socket.
Otherwise, it may cause the electric shock.

„ Please don’t put the heavy objects on the power
cable or refit the electric wire. Otherwise, it may
cause electric shock and fire.
„ Please pull out the plug from the power socket
before the cleaning and maintenance work.
„ You should hold the battery charger when pulling
out the plug. If pulling the power cable, it may be
damaged or cause electric shock and fire.
1.3.5 Cleaning and Maintenance
„ As the mobile phone, battery and battery charger
are waterproof; please don’t use them at the
places with high humidity like in the bathroom.
They shall also be wetted by rain water.
„ Use soft cloth to clean the mobile phone, battery
and battery charger.
„ Please don’t use the alcohol, dilution agent,
benzene or other solution to clean the mobile
phone.
„ The socket with dirt may have contact failures
and power-fail, or even it can’t be used for
charging. Please clean the socket regularly.
1.3.6 General precautions
Mobile phone:
„ Please use the mobile phone in the environment
with the temperature between 5℃~40℃ and
humidity between 35%~85%.
„ Please use the mobile phone at the places away
from normal fixed-line phones; TV sets as well as

the automatic equipment in the office so that the
performance of the equipment and the mobile
phone may not be affected.

Battery:
„ Please put the battery at the places which can
avoid sunlight and are dry with good ventilation.
„ The life time of the battery of the mobile phone is
limited. The service time of the battery may be
shortened if it is repeatedly charged. If the battery
is not effective by means of charging for several
times, it means the lifetime of the battery is ended.
In this case, you shall replace it with the new
battery of designated model.
„ Please don’t throw the battery into the household
garbage. You shall follow the related regulations
which are stipulated for the treatment of waste
batteries.

Battery charger:
„ Please don’t charge the battery in the following
places: in the sunlight; places with temperature
lower than 5℃ or higher than 40℃; places with
high humidity, much dust or violent vibrations (it
may cause failure); places close to the electric
appliances like the TV sets, radios (it may affect
the effects of image and sound.)

2.2 Description of Keys

1. ON/OFF key:

At the top of phone, long press the key to power on/off


the phone.
2. Hang-Up key:
Finish or refuse the incoming call; in other states,
press this key to return to the standby state.
3. Keyboard
Input numbers and letters; number 2-9 may be set as
shortcuts of some functions;
* key: in dial interface, long press this key to input and
switch among +, P, W.
# key: in dial interface press this key to input # key
1 key: make a call by SIM 1
2 key: make a call by SIM 2

2.3 Touch Screen


This phone supports touch screen function
1. The four icons at the bottom of screen from left to
right: key dialing, phonebook, internet and music.
2. Click the icon on the screen to enter the responding
menu.
3. In standby interface, long press the icon, all menu
icons shake to void wrong entering; by which it may pull
the icon to other position (shall not enter the menu), press
OK key to cancel the vibration and enter the menu.

2.4 Battery
In the initial state, the battery was charged by 50% of the
electricity quantity. It can be used after it is unpacked. For
the first three times, the electricity in the battery shall be
completely used up before recharging. Thus the battery can
reach its best performance.
Unloading and loading of the battery
„ The following procedures shall be followed when the
battery is unloaded: ① Open the back cover; ② Lift
the battery up and then take it out.

„ The following procedures shall be followed when the
battery is loaded: ① Put the battery into the groove;
② Put back the cover.

2.5 Charging the battery


„ Connect the battery charger with the power;
„ Insert the plug of the battery charger into the bottom
of the mobile phone (pay attention the arrow shall be
upward).
„ At the time, the indicating symbol for the electricity
amount at the upper right angle will flash by cycling.
If the phone is turned off during the charging, the
picture of indicating the charging will be seen on the
screen, which means the battery is being charged. If
the mobile phone is till in use though the electricity
quantity is insufficient, the indicating symbol for
charging on the screen may be seen in some time after
the charging is commenced.
„ When the indicating symbol for electricity quantity at
the upper right angle of the screen is full and no
flashing can be seen, it means that the charging is
finished. If the battery is charged in the power-off
state, the picture indicating the ending of the charging
will be seen on the screen. The time for charging can
be 3-4 hours. During the charging, the battery, mobile
phone and the battery charger may become warm,
which is the normal phenomenon.
„ After the charging is finished, the user shall
disconnect the AC power socket from the mobile
phone and the charger.

Note:
„ The charging of the battery shall be done at the places
with the temperature between + 5℃~ + 40℃ and
good ventilation. Only the battery charger provided by
the approved manufacturer can be used. It may cause
the danger of the unauthorized charger is used and this
is against the provisions stipulated for the recognition
and warranty of the mobile phone.
„ When the mobile phone is automatically powered off
or the warning of “battery will be used up”, the battery
shall be recharged in time. If some electricity quantity
remained in the battery, the recharging time of the
mobile phone will be shortened.
„ The standby time and call time for the mobile phone
described in this Manual is based on the ideal working
environment. In real use, the work time of the battery
may be changed subject to the differences of the
network situation, work environment and operation
method.
„ Before charging the battery, make sure that the battery
is properly loaded. The battery shall not be unloaded
during charging.
„ After the charging is finished, please disconnect the
power from the battery charger and the mobile phone.
„ If you don’t disconnect the power from the battery
charger and the mobile phone, the mobile phone will
be charged again after long period of time (about 5-8
hours) as the electricity quantity is used to some extent.
We suggest you don’t operate it in this way as it may
affect the performance and lifetime of the battery.

2.6 Connection with the network

2.6.1 SIM card


Before you use the mobile phone, please insert the
effective SIM card into the phone. SIM card is your key
to get into the GMS network.

All the information related to the establishment of the


network connection and the initialization of your calling
records, as well as the names, phone numbers and SMSs
you saved and received in the phonebook of the SIM card,
are kept in the metal surface area of the SIM card. The SIM
card can be taken out of your mobile phone and put it into
any GSM mobile phone for use (the new mobile phone will
automatically read the SIM card).
In order to avoid damaging and loosing the
information in the card, the metal surface area of the SIM
card shall not touched. The SIM card shall be kept away
from the places with electricity and magnetism. Once the
SIM card is damaged, you can’t get into the GSM network.
Warning: The phone must be shut off before the SIM
card is taken out. It is strictly prohibited to insert or
take out the SIM card when the external power supply
is connected. Otherwise, the SIM card may be damaged.

2.6.2 Inserting and taking-out of SIM card


Normally, the SIM card is placed in another small card.
It shall be carefully taken out from it before it is installed in

the mobile phone.
„ Turn off the mobile phone and remove the battery and
other external power supply.
„ This phone supports dual SIM cards, the bottom is for
SIM 1 and the upper is for SIM 2 (refer to Dual-SIM
setting).
„ If you need to take out the SIM card, you shall turn off
the phone first, and remove the battery. Then you can
take out the SIM card from the SIM card base.

2.6.3 Turn on/off the phone


Long press ON/OFF key to power on/off the phone.
If you has turned on the phone but not inserted the SIM
card, the phone will remind you of inserting the SIM
card. After the insertion, the phone will automatically
check to see if the SIM card can be used.
Then the following indications will be displayed on
the screen:
Input PIN 1 If you have set the SIM password.
Input password If you have set the password to unlock
the phone.
Search network The phone will search till it finds out
the suitable network connection.

2.6.4 Unlocking of the SIM card


In order to prevent the unauthorized use of the phone,
SIM card is protected by PIN1 ((Personal Identified
Number). If the user selects this function, you shall input the
PIN1 each time when you turn on the phone so that you can

unlock the SIM card and make or receive calls. The user can
delete the SIM protection (please see the Section
4.7.6--Safety Setting). In this case, SIM card will not
prevent the unauthorized use of the phone.
„ Press Hang-Up key to open the phone
„ Input the PIN1 and use the Right Soft Key to delete
the input errors. Then confirm it. For example, if the
PIN1 is set as 1234, the related inputs shall be as
follows:

If you input the wrong PIN1 for three times, your SIM
card will be locked by the network. Then the mobile phone
will inquire you for the PUK1. If you don’t know the PUK1,
you shall not input other numbers but give the SIM card to
the network operator for further treatment. For details,
please see Section 3.14.7--“Safety setting”.
Note: Your network will set the standard PIN1 (4-8 digits)
for your SIM card. You shall change it into your private
password as soon as possible. For details of the operation,
please see Section 3.14.7--“Safety setting”.

2.6.5 Unlocking the phone


In order to prevent the unauthorized use, your phone
can be set with the mobile phone password for protection.
If you selection this function, each time after you turn on
the phone and input the PIN1 (If you have set the PIN
protection), you have to input the mobile phone password
so as unlock the phone and make or receive calls. The user
can delete the mobile phone password (please see the
Section 4.7.6--Safety Setting). In this case, the phone will
not prevent the unauthorized use of the phone.

„ Input the mobile phone password and use the Right
Soft Key to delete the input errors. Then confirm it.
For example, if the mobile phone password is set as
1234, the related inputs shall be as follows:

If you forget your mobile phone password, you have
to contact the distributor or the local authorized service
center so as to decode your mobile phone password.

2.6.6 Connection with the network


„ After the SIM card is successfully decoded, the mobile
phone will search for the usable network. Once the
connection is successful, the name of network supplier
shall be displayed on the screen, and further press to make
it disappeared.

Note: If the word “EMERGENCY” is displayed on


SCREEN, it means you are out of the scope of the network
covering (service scope). But you can still make the
emergency call in accordance with the strength of the
signal.

2.6.7 Making a call


When the sign indicating the network operator is
displayed on the LCD, you can make or receive calls. The
information bar at the upper right angle of LCD indicates
the strength of the network signals.

As the sound quality of the call is affected by the
surrounding barriers, it will improve the sound quality of
the call if you move within a small area.

2.6.8 Making an international call


Use the number keys to input the phone number and then
press the Dial-up key to make the call. If you want to
change the phone number, you can use the Delete key to
delete the characters by returning. During dialing, the call
flash will be displayed on LCD. After the person of the
other side picks up the phone, the information of call state
will be displayed on LCD. If the reminding voice is in the
working state, one sound of reminding voice will be heard
(it shall be supported by the network).
After the call is finished, press the Hang-up key to hang up
the phone.

2.6.9 Making a call to the extension line with fixed-line

Some of the extension line with fixed-line phone
can not be dialed directly. You need to dial the switch
board first and then dial the extension line. When you
are input the phone number, if you insert the pause
character “P” between the switch board number and
the extension number, the mobile phone will help you
complete the dialing of all the numbers and
automatically connect to the extension line. For this

purpose, you can long press the * key (then symbol
“P” will be displayed on LCD).

Example for the use of the pause character”


For example, if you have a voice mailbox system used by
dial-up mode at the number 8880000, with the mailbox
number 6666 and password 8888. You can dial it through
the following method:
8880000 P 6666 P 8888
The first part of this number is used for dialing the voice
mailbox.
When the phone is answered, the number 6666 will be
dialed for selecting the mailbox.
Before the password 8888 is dialed, the second pause
symbol will produce a five-second delay (the first P
indicates the waiting for the call connection, the
following P indicates the five-second delay).

2.6.10 Making an international call


If you want to make an international call, you can long
press the * key till the prefix character “+” for international
call is displayed on LCD, which permits you to make the
call from any country even if you don’t know the local
prefix character for international call (for example, “00” is
for China).
After you input the prefix number, you can input the
country code and the integral phone number which you
desire. The country codes follow the common practice. For
example, 49 for Germany, 44 for Great Britain, 46 for

Sweden, etc.
Like the international call as normally made, the number
“0” at the front shall be omitted.
For example, if you want to dial the service hot line from
other countries, you shall dial:

2.6.11 Making a call from phone number list


Each phone number you dialed or received will be
saved in a list of the mobile phone and the latest number
dialed and received will be listed on the top (see Section
3.25.1--“Call records”). All numbers are classified by the
dialed number, received umber and unanswered number.
The mobile phone also provides you with all the items of
the phone numbers so that you can view all call records. If
the phone number list is fully used for store, the old
numbers will be deleted automatically. If you want to view
the number list, you shall operate the phone by pressing the
related keys described as follows:
„ Click Option to make operations to the phone number
in the list.
When the phone number list is seen, you can press
“OK” to view the details. After entering into the Options,
you can press Save to directly save this number into the
phonebook.

2.6.12 Emergency calls
If you are within the scope of network covering (you
can know this from the information bar at the upper left
angle on the LCD of the mobile phone), you can make
emergency calls. If your network operator doesn’t provide
you with the roaming service, the words “EMERGENCY”
will be displayed on LCD, which tells you that you can
only make such a call. If you are within the scope of
network covering, you can make emergency calls
regardless that you don’t have the SIM card in the mobile
phone.

2.6.13 Answering a call


Press Dial key to answer the incoming call. If the
earphone is inserted, you can answer the call by pressing
the key on the earphone. If your situation is not convenient
to press the key, you can set the Automatic Answer as “On”
and, if the earphone is inserted, you can answer the call
after five seconds of ringing or vibration.

2.6.14 Call records


Your phone will save the latest call record and all the
call time since began to use the phone (please see
Section 3.25.1—Call records).

2.6.15 Call menu


In the call state, press Options to enter into the call menu.
The call menu has the same operation method as the
function menu.

The call menu can only be seen during the process of
calling. The functions such as Calling Waiting, Calling
Keeping, Multi-party Meeting and so on shall be supported
by the network. In this case, you need to contact the
network supplier.
In the call menu, you can make the following operations:

Keep the current calling or restore the kept calling.
■ Ending
To end the current call.
■ New call
Make a new call.
■ Phone book
To enter the browsing state of the phone book.
■ SMS
To edit or send out the SMS.

3.3 Short Message
Select the “Short Message” menu to enter the
submenu.
You can send/receive Chinese/English SMSs and
multimedia messages through the SMS center, if your
network supports and service, and you have applied to the
network service provider for the service.

3.3.1 New message


Once a SMS is received, the handset will vibrate (if
the “Vibrate” function is on) or prompt tone (if the sound
prompt function has been activated). The screen will
prompt for new message, and the quantity of the new
messages. If you do not want to read it, there will be new
message prompt on the standby interface, and it will be
automatically saved in the SIM card.
The number of SMSs (including the SMSs received
and saved) that can be saved in the SIM card is determined
by the capacity of the SIM card. If the SMSs in the SIM
card are full, there will be a prompt that “The SIM card
inbox is full” on the top of the screen.
To read a new message, you can enter the Inbox
submenu, and press “Read” to read the new message.

3.3.2 Write a message
The SMS service allows you to send SMSs in
character to other handsets that can receive SMSs.
Please be sure that the SMS service center number has
been set before writing a SMS (Please refer to “SMS
setting”).
„ Enter the “Write SMS” submenu to enter a SMS
(Please refer to “Input Method” in section 4.2). In this
interface, click Option to make the following
operations:
- Finish: Select this option to indicate that the
SMS input has been finished, and the next step
of operation can be performed.
- Insert template: insert the common phrase in
the message.
- Inserted object: Insert objects such as pictures,
ringing sound and animations into the SMS.
- Character format: Define the character format
of the SMS.
- Insert contact number: select and insert a
phone number from the phonebook.
- Insert contact name: insert the name of the
phonebook.
- Insert bookmark: insert the bookmark

- Input method: Change the input method when
editing the SMS.
„ After the message is written, press “OK” and then
select SIM 1 or SIM2, and you can use touch pen
select to send this message to other handsets in the
mode of Send, Send and save, Save, Multi-party send,
or Group send.
Send: if SIM 1 is used, select this option to enter the
edit box for the recipient. You can press the “Digital key”
to input the number, or press the Find key to invoke the
phone book, select the recipient’s number, and press OK to
send it.
Send (SIM2): same as SIM1, send the message via
SIM2.
Send and save: Send the message, and save it in the
outbox at the same time.
Save and send (SIM2): send the message via SIM 2
and synchronously save the message into the outbox.
Save: Do not send the SMS, and save it in the outbox.
Multi-party send: Send the SMS to multiple phone
numbers.
Group send: Select a group, and send the SMS to all
the members in the group.

Note: The SMS centers of some cities and regions
require that a SMS shall not exceed 70 Chinese characters
(or 160 English characters).

3.3.3 View received and saved messages


„ Enter the submenu Inbox to view the received SMSs;
and enter the Outbox to view the SMSs you have
saved in the SIM card.
„ When viewing the SMS list in the inbox, the message
receiving date, time and the sender’s phone number or
name will be displayed (when there is such a number
in the phone book).
„ To view SMSs list, you can use the “Up” or “Down”
key to select the previous or next message.
„ After the SMSs list appears in the inbox, you can press
“OK” to read the messages. In such a case, you can
press the “Option” to perform the following
operations:
- Reply: Send a SMS to the sender of the current
SMS.
- Delete: Delete the current SMS.
- Forward: forward the message.
- Copy to phone (copy to SIM): copy the
message from SIM card (phone) to phone (SIM
card).
- Move to phone (move to SIM): Move the

message from SIM card (phone) to phone (SIM
card).
- Delete all: Delete all the SMSs in the inbox.
- Copy all: copy all from SIM card or phone.
- Move all: move all from SIM card or phone.
- Extract number: Extract the phone number of
the SMS’s sender, and you can select to dial it
or save it into the phone book or send a
message.
- Use website: if the website may be extracted.
- Use USSD: use the numbers
- Use email: use the email in the message.
- Chat: enter the chatting room
- Print: start the device of Bluetooth pairing.
„ When there is a SMS list in the Outbox, you can press
OK to read the SMS. At the time, you can press
“Option” to perform the following operations:
- Send by SIM 1: send the SMS. You can send the
message to multiple parties by selecting
Multi-party send or Group send.
- Edit: Extract the contents of the current SMS for
editing.
- Delete: Delete the SMS.
- Copy to phone (copy to SIM): copy the

- Move to phone (move to SIM): Move the
message from SIM card (phone) to phone (SIM

3.3.4 Template
■ Common sentences can be written into this template to
avoid keying in the SMS repeatedly. After writing, select
Edit or Delete.

3.3.5 SMS setting


To use the SMS function, you must first perform some
necessary settings.

„ Enter the submenu SMS setting.
- Mode setting: Select an appropriate mode for the
handset’s SMS. Enter the various modes to set
the corresponding name, SMS center number,
valid time and SMS format.
- Status setting: set whether to start the SMS
report or the reply path.
- Capacity query: View the space occupation in
the SIM card or the handset’s mailbox.
- Saving location: Select the handset or the SIM
card.
„ Setting SMS center number: Please contact you
network service provider to get the SMS service
center number. For example, the SMS center number
of China Mobile in Shanghai is +8613800210500.
Details: Select the SMS center submenu, enter the
SMS service center number, and press OK to save the
setting.
„ Status report: Set the Status report to On. When the
opposite party receives the SMS you send or cannot
receive it, the SMS center will send the status report,
and you can conveniently know whether the opposite
party has received the SMS.
„ Note: This function has to be supported by the carrier.

3.4 Schedule
Enter the schedule submenu and press OK key to

Press Left/Right key at the top of screen to select
Date/Month.
Press Option to enter the submenu.
■ Today: use touch pen to click Today icon to view
the schedule, use touch pen to click the blank
zone to enter the editing interface.
■ List: list all schedule items, click Option key to

SMS, MMS, email or Bluetooth) or save as file

3.5 Album
Enter the album to make the operations to the phone
such as view, slide play, edit, print, view mode, use as, send,
rename, delete, etc.

The handset can serve as a camera, use touch pen to
click the camera icon at the bottom to enter the function, it
may set up the special effects such as white balance, delay
shoot, continuous, environment, quality, size, etc. you may
enter the setting interface by Option.

- To Photo album: Enter the photo album.
- Camera setting: Set parameters related to taking
photos.
- Photo setting: Set the size and quality of photos.
- White balance: set up the color of light
- Environment: set up the shooting mode

- Save position: select and save the phone to

3.11 Calculator
The handset provides you with a calculator with four
basic functions to facilitate simple operations.
Select the Calculator menu option, and press Select to
enter the following items.
- Input the numbers on the touch screen.
- Click Left arrowhead key to clear the most recent
input or result, press OK key to exit from the
calculator.
Note: The calculator precision is limited, and there
will be errors in rounding, especially when digits are
indivisible.

3.12 Radio
The user may listen to FM radio even if no earphone.
Enter the FM radio interface, and it displays Option
and Back at the bottom, select Option to enter Channel List,
Manual Input, Auto Search, Setting, REC, Add and File
List.
Glossaries
Channel List: the channel list of FM radio, press
Option to edit or play the current channel (nine channels

3.14.7 Security setting


g SIM lock:
You can set the security options for the handset under
this menu, so as to prevent your handset or SIM card from
being used illegally.
- PIN
The PIN can prevent your SIM card from being
used illegally.
- If the current PIN has been turned off, select ON
to lift protection of the PIN, and your PIN will be
required when the handset is turned on the next
time; if the PIN has been on, select OFF to turn
off the protection of the PIN, or select Change
PIN to set a new PIN. Please following the
prompt to input the old PIN, the new PIN twice.
Note: If the PIN is incorrectly input for three
consecutive times, the SIM card will be locked. At the time,
you have to use the PUK to unlock your SIM card. The PIN
and PUK may be provided together with the SIM card. If
unavailable, please contact your network service provider

immediately. The PIN is 1234 by default, and changes it
into your own password as soon as possible.
g Fixed dialing:
The SIM card can support you to dial only the chosen
phone numbers. When the function is activated, only the
phone numbers in the fixed dialing list, or the numbers
prefixed by the digits in the table can be dialed.
Enter the submenu “Fixed dialing”:
- Mode: Start or end the fixed dialing function
(PIN2 is required).
- Fixed dialing list: Input the phone numbers for
fixed dialing.
Note: You have to input your PIN2 to start or end the fixed
dialing function. Please contact your network service
provider for PIN2. Start the fixed dialing, enter the name
card file, and the fixed dialing numbers will be displayed.
g Prohibit dialing:
Contrary to the fixed dialing, you can set barring calls
to some numbers with this function.
g Handset lock:
The handset lock can prevent your handset from being
used without authorization.
Select the Handset lock to start protection of the
handset password. The next time you turn on the phone,
your handset password will be required. Press it once more
to lift the handset password protection.

General stopwatch has respective timing and circle

■ Write message: Create a multimedia message. You
need to fill in the Recipient, Copy, Confidential copy,
Theme and MMS content.
g Inbox: View the multimedia message received. (The
detailed operations are the same as in the inbox for the
SMS).
- View: View the current MMS.
- Reply: Send MMSs to the current MMS’s
recipient.
- Reply to all: Send MMSs to the sender and all
the recipient of the current MMS.
- Forward: Forward to other people.
- Delete: Delete the current MMS.
- Delete all: Delete all the contents in the inbox.
- Save as template: save the current MMS to
preset message.
- Details: view the details of the current MMS.

the general method has SIM card, outlook, in addition to
syncml ota.

Syncml. Ota uses wireless GPRS to make the phonebook,
schedule and task synchronous to the server. The user terminal
of some server may make these datum synchronous with
OUTLOOK to make you keep the latest phonebook. Syncml.
Ota service, like a safe, even if your phone is lost, the
important phonebook shall not be lost, it’s really useful for the
business people.
It’s easy to register, the user may change the data
according to the service supplier’s provisions.
Take sohu as example, click to get into the register
webpage and then:

This function is provided by the network service
provider. If the SIM card and the network service provider
do not support the service, this function cannot be used. To
obtain more information, please contact the network service
provider.

3.29.2 WAP
The handset supports the Wireless Application
Protocol (WAP) service. You can visit the services
supported by your network service provider. The service
functional table can enable you to obtain information such
as news, weather forecast, and airlines.
Note: GPRS service requires network support, and it
can be used only after the service is put into operation, and
in the GPRS network coverage.
- Homepage: Log into the homepage. The
homepage is the WAP site set in the started

connection setting. If you have not performed
settings, the preset site by the vendor will be
used.
- Bookmark: Display the various existing
bookmarks. Select direct connection to the
bookmark’s homepage.
- Website history record: This records the
websites you have browsed.
- Saved webpage: the webpage saved before

you can input any one WAP or other Internet
websites.
- Service inbox: Save the messages sent by the
service provider.
- Settings: Perform settings of website browsing.

5 T-Flash Card

This phone supports T-Flash card and expansion:

5.1 Load and unload


TF card is installed at the upper of battery, insert the
card as per the label.
Note: the phone supports the plug-and-play function,
but in Power ON state, it’s advised to restart the phone after
loading/unloading the TF card to ensure the normal use.
Generally, it’s not advised to take down TF card.

5.2 Usage
As one of the storage devices, TF card is defaulted as the
memorizer when its production, it’s unnecessary for the

Use as memorizer: when it’s the first to insert, please set up
the default memorizer of music, video, animation, camera
and record as the memory card, then you may use TF card
to store the files. (the setting methods have been described
above)
Use as U disk: it may be connected with PC via USB cable
