The City will have the opportunity to discuss economic development opportunities with Israel in trade
and investment within a few of San Antonios key targeted industries and sectors including
cybersecurity, health & life sciences, big data and fintech. The delegation also travels to Israel to explore
and understand specific areas of the Israeli economy and where it aligns with San Antonio industry
sectors.

San Antonio established a Friendship City agreement with Tel Aviv, Israel in 2011. Israel is identified as a
target country in the San Antonio Trade & Investment Strategy launched in 2015.
