A Divine Break-In
Galatians 4:4-5 Home robberies and home invasions are on the rise.
A burglar broke into a house one night. He shined his
flashlight around, looking for valuables, and when he
picked up a CD player to place in his sack, a strange,
voice echoed from the dark saying, "Jesus is watching
you." He nearly jumped out of his skin, clicked his
flashlight off and froze. When he heard nothing more
after a bit, he shook his head, then clicked the light on
and began searching for more valuables. Just as he
pulled the stereo out so he could disconnect the wires,
clear as a bell he heard, "Jesus is watching you."
Freaked out, he shined his light around frantically,
looking for the source of the voice. Finally, in the
corner of the room, his flashlight beam came to rest on
a parrot. "Did you say that?" "Yep," the parrot
confessed, then squawked, "I'm just trying to warn
you. "The burglar relaxed. "Warn me, huh? Who are
you?" "Moses," replied the bird. "Moses?" the burglar
laughed. "What kind of people would name a bird
Moses?" "The same kind of people that would name a
Rottweiler, Jesus."
While the joke may be funny most break-ins are not.
Its not funny to come home and find your home in
disarray, and your earthly treasures gone.
Its not funny.
Unless you are like the man that went to the police
station wishing to speak with the burglar who had
broken into his house the night before. Youll get your
chance in court, said the desk sergeant. No, no, no!
said the man. I want to know how he got into the
house without waking my wife. Ive been trying to do
that for years!
Especially during this time of the year.
I believe the Christmas holidays is the biggest
shopping days of the year for thieves..
And for them its better than any black Friday or any
day after Christmas salebecause for them everything
is free.
No one likes a break-in. no one likes to be robbed of
their earthly possessions or cherished keepsakes.
And right now holiday crime is all over the TV and its
big news.
But this morning I want to direct your attention to the
biggest break-in of all time
And you wont hear about it on CNN or ABC
You wont hear about it on 60 minutes or the five on
clock news
It was covered by only one reporter over two thousand
years ago.
But it was not your typical break-in
It wasnt a robberyIt wasnt even a crime.
But rather it was a deliberate, intentional, prearranged
divine event.
And Paul lets us know that at the right moment, at the
precise time an eternal God broke into the realm of
human suffering and human misery.
A Loving God broke into an arena of human depravity,
and human wickedness.
But God broke in not to steal from but rather to give
too
For the text says Galatians 4 But when the fullness of the
time had come, God sent forth His Son, 5 to redeem those
who were under the law.
 At the precise moment God broke into the barrier of
human existence.
God broke through the veil of human ignorance, to
offer sight to the blind..
The world was spiritually dark, and sin was the norm.
Man had fallen from grace and was blind to the
presence of God.
Matthew described them as a people who sat in
darkness
Paul described them as a people, who were dead in
trespasses and sins,2 who walked according to the course
of this world,
It was the right time for a break-in
Because man was a prisoner to his sin.
It was the right time for a break-in
Because humanity was locked up in the prison of life.
There was no hope, no joy, no faith
Even now as we celebrate the Christmas season there
are many who find themselves depressed, and
melancholy.
They are locked in a prison of loneliness and chained
to a ball of sorrow.
They are clothed in the shame of guilt and sentenced
to a life of unhappiness
For them life has become a prison
They are captives held hostage not by bars of steel
But the painful emotions of life.
How many today find yourself just going through the
motions
Every day is the same as any other day
Burdens in the morning and worry at night
Helplessness and anxiety is the norm
The great Apostle Paul experienced it.
For he cried out in Romans 7:24 (NKJV)
24 Owretched man that I am! Who will deliver me from this body of
death?
And just as it was the right time then, I stopped by to
tell that its the right time now
And God is seeking to break-in again.
God wants to invade your space
He wants to enter your life
He wants you to experience the blessings of a divine
break-in
Ok God wants to break-in but what exactly does He
want to happen.

God Wants To Break In So He Can Break Up
Criminals break in to vandalize
The destroy your property, violate your sense of peace
and rob you of your joy
But Not So With God
God breaks in first of all to break up satans hold on
your life.
Vs. 3 says we were children, in bondage under the elements
of the world.
We were adolescences, helpless and immature
We had been robbed of our divine rights
And As a results we had become slaves to the prince of
this world
But God broke through the barrier of human failure.
He broke through the wall of human bankruptcy
To break the hold of the enemy on your life.
For those held captive in the stronghold of sin God
wants to set you free.
 For those incarcerated in the stronghold of fleshly
desiresHe offers relief from your nightmare.
He wants to break up the barriers that have you locked
out eternal blessings.
He wants to break up the shackles have you locked in
How do I know this?
Because in Jesus declared it in Luke Chapter 4
Luke 4:18-19 (NKJV)

"The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, Because He has
anointed Me To preach the gospel to the poor; He has
sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to
the captives And recovery of sight to the blind, To set at
liberty those who are oppressed;
So At the right time and in the precise way God sent
His only Son to redeem you.
Secondly God Broke In To Break Up The Plan Of Sin.
Understand sin has a plan for your life.
Sin seeks to identify you as a sinner, An outcast, a
criminal. one who is unworthy
It points you out and then accuses you.
Then it seeks to condemn you
We were victims of sins devilish plan to kill your
relationship with God;
To steal your divine identity
And destroy your hope for divine reconciliation.
Alone, not knowing who you are, with no hope for the
future life becomes a living hell
And thats sins plan for you;
To Spend An Eternity In Hell
But thank God that wasnt His plan for us
Jeremiah 29:11 11For I know the thoughts that I think
toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and
not of evil, to give you an expected end.
Psalms 33:11 11 The counsel of the LORD stands forever,
The plans of His heart to all generations.
Gods plan has always been for our good.
Thats why at the right moment, God broke into the
world to break up the plan sin had for you
The coming of Christ upon the world scene was not by
chance.
His coming was under the strategic timing
providentially set aside by God.
His coming was not one day before or behind the
appointed time.
Christ was born of a particular person (woman), at a
particular time, in a particular way (incarnation), under
a particular system (the law).
Satan used a woman to betray us, our humanity to
enslave us and the law to convict us
Romans 8:3-4 "For what the law could not do, in that it
was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son
in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned
sin in the flesh: that the righteousness of the law might
be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after
the Spirit"
God broke in so Jesus could break up satans hold and
sins plan.
But Lastly God broke in So You And I Could Break
Out.
The dream of every prisoner is not better meals or
better treatment
The dream of every prisoner is freedom
God broke in so you and I could break out..
 Hallelujah.
Jesus came so every imprisoned mind could be set free
Jesus came so every incarcerated heart could be set
free.
Jesus came so every condemned soul could be set free.
Christmas is more than a get want I want day
Its a get what I need day
The birth of Jesus allows us to breakout of the
hopelessness of life.
When the Israelites were in bondage He sent Moses
When Elijah was depressed, He sent a raven
When John was in prison He sent an angel..
When the man fell among thieves, He sent a Samaritan
When you and I were lost and on our way to a devils
hell.He sent Jesus.
This morning if youre locked up
Jesus says I Am the Door
If Youre lost
Jesus says I Am the Way
If You are confused
I AM the Truth
If Youre in darkness
I Am the Light of the world..
God wants to break in this morning
The Question Is Will You Let Him?
If you let Him in, Hell break up the strongholds that
have you bond
If you let Him in, Hell pardon your sins and set you
free..
