The human communication process and public speaking as a liberal art

Communication is a process where different ideas are shared.

Communication envolve differentes elements that are: essential of a good
communication,that are: Participants, messages, channels, interference,
feedback and context.

Participants are the persons who we can called senders and receivers,a
sender transmit messages verbal or nonverbal and receivers interpret
messages sent by the senders or other people, in public speaking, one
participant act as a sender to present an information to the recievers.

Messages could be images, nonverbal behaviors or utterances, for example,

in public speaking the message are the speech and the different visual aids
that the sender presents. A message must have a meaning, if it doesnt have,
there wouldnt be communication, the meanings are the interpretation that
the participants have about a message. Encoding is put our felling in wors
and ecoing is the interpretation of the of message.

Channel is the route that the message travel to the recierver, could be a TV
channel or only speaking and hearing. Interference noises are all differents
kind of noises that can interupt sharing a message. It can be divided in
physical, that are sounds that can distracts people from a message and
psychological that are the felling and thought that someone has, those
fellings can make you pay attention to another think. Feedback is the
different reaction that someone has because of the message, this can help
the sender to noticed if the meaning of the message was missunderstood.

Communication also differ in the audience, small group communication

occurs when thera are there to ten people in the audience, a team work
together to deliver a presentation. Public communication, it occurs when
more tan ten people are recieving the message and they only are limited to
feedback as their own message, a derivate of public communication is mass
communication, this is transmited by media as TV, magazines, books or
websites.

Intrapersonal communication is when the communication is with youself, for

example, someone that are thinking about what he or she Will do on
weekend and interpesonal communication, this envolve two people.
Public Speaking is a liberal art, an essential skill for free the knowledge and
skills that you gain can help you to participate in our democratic society.
Since Greece public speaking was a education that they offered.

Public speaking help you to give effective presentations and also teach yo
how to think and not in what to think as a participant, sender or reciever,
learning how to behave ethically, how to organize your ideas and realized
with nonverbal behavior of the people if they are understanding what you
meant. Also you Will be able to identify if a person are communicating
unethically, these activities are critical discipline.

Public speaking is important in the society that we live, in our government, in

the social media, one of the skills of publick speaking is the confidence to
speak and share the ideas. The public speaking help you to communicate
