To Whom It May Concern,

I am writing this letter to highly recommend Abbie Jennings as an addition to your educational
institution. I have had the pleasure of being an educator for Abbie in a variety of formats and
am currently her High School Art Teacher. I am also involved in coaching and know the effort
and drive she has a student athlete. The achievements by Abbie speak for themselves in the
classroom and on the court/field. I would like to talk more about Abbies character and integrity.

As a supporter and coach of the athletics in Marion I attend many games. The girls earned a
state championship in volleyball last year and were led by a strong group of senior and juniors,
including Abbie. While her on the court abilities are amazing, I cant help but think of Abbies off
the court integrity. The girls are introduced at the beginning of the games and given an item,
such as a shirt, to throw into the crowd. Most throw the object into the crowd allowing the
masses to compete and jostle for the object, but Abbie will walk into the bleachers and hand her
object to a group of physically or mentally handicapped students. Her passion for academics
and athletics is admirable, but her character and integrity are what put her above your average
candidates. I strongly recommend Abbie as an artist, a student, an athlete, and most
importantly, as a person.
