A survey conducted in our class shows that most of our students regularly play computer games.

However, tha majority of them are actually not computer game addicts because they dont spend too
much time on front of their computers.

We asked 24 students in our class a few questions about their computer gaming habits. Here are
some of our findings:

- 4 girls do not play video games at all

- Many students usually play them at the weekend, when they have more free time.
- Boys enjoy war games and racing games. Counter Strike and GTA are the most popular ones.
- Girls prefer online games like Flappz Birds, CastleVille Legends, Sims and Angry birds.
- Both boys and girls like board games and quizzes.

Experts say that teenagers spend 14 hours a week playing computer games. Only 2 students in our
survey spend that much time gaming. However, they all enjoy talking about their gaming scores,
tactics and levels. The students often play games when they get home from school or at the
weekend. Although the majority of them play games regularly, the prefer going out with their friends
to staying home and gaming.

At present, 100% of the students have a PC, a laptop or a smart phone. 50% percent have more than
one such device at home.

Although the statistics show that there are many video game addicts worldwide, our survey shows
that the games are very popular with teenagers, but they can also live without them. Our teenagers
see it as a form of entertainment.
