OBJECTIVES

GENERAL

At the end of family case study exposure the student would be able to share their
knowledge about health prevention, apply appropriate nursing intervention with
proper behavior towards the patient and the patients family.

SPECIFIC

At the end of family case study exposure and student nurse- family interaction
the student should able to:

Based on patient and client needs the student should able to identify problem and
hindrance in achieving wellness of the patient and the family. Student promote
disease prevention and discuss illness. Explain the importance of family development,
normal growth, task and role and development across lifespan to the family. And
impart health teaching.

Based on the problem identify the student should to plan proper intervention that
the patient and the family needs. Apply appropriate nursing intervention considering
the student capabilities and available resources. Demonstrate disease prevention
management such as; hand washing and proper hygiene. Able to evaluate changes in
patient conditions after giving nursing intervention.

In relation to behavior the student may able to build rapport towards the patient
and family. Shows appropriate behavior according to rules and regulation in giving
care and assessment. Express kindness and courtesy towards the patient and family
during assessment and intervention without violating the clients belief related to
health.
