2 Query Range
This function allows you to query all optional features for UMTS, LTE FDD, and LTE TDD
NEs. For details about the features that support this function, see the UMTS and LTE
feature lists. You can contact Huawei technical support to obtain the feature lists.
This function allows you to query only some features for GSM NEs. For details about the
features that support this function, see List of GSM features supporting the feature
activation function.
3 Query Specifications
Feature status query is used to query the feature activation status for logical NEs on the live network.
The related operations are performed in the current data area on the CME. You can use this function
to query only the configuration status of licenses and feature algorithm switches. Note that only
authorized value query is supported in SRAN9.0. You cannot use this function to query the
configuration status of dependent features, hardware devices, and other configuration parameters.
For example, if the algorithm switches for an inter-NE feature are set on both the RNC and NodeB,
the CME will check the switches on both of them and display the activation result.
You are allowed to query features for multiple NEs in batches. Feature IDs, names, and groups are
specified in the pre-sales feature lists.
The granularity for license status query is NE, and that for feature configuration status query is cell.
When you query the status of multiple features, you can only select NE objects according to the
maximum granularity. For example, feature A is an RNC-level feature, and feature B is a cell-level
feature. You can only select RNCs for feature status query.

configuration sheets.
2 Activation Range
SRAN9.0 supports batch configuration of certain data service features and interoperation
features. The data service features are those related to HSDPA and HSUPA, and the
interoperation features are those involving any combinations of GSM, UMTS, LTE FDD,
and LTE TDD. For details about the features, see List of Features Supporting the Feature
Activation Function.
3 Activation Specifications
Feature activation operations are performed in the planned data areas on the CME. Features are
activated in batches by exporting the feature-related Excel configuration files. Such files contain
MOs and parameters related to the features.
This function applies to GSM, UMTS, LTE FDD, and can only be used to activate a single feature
for multiple NEs of the same RAT.
You cannot use this function to activate licenses, dependent features, or hardware-related
configurations. o activate such licenses, features, or configurations, follow the operation guidelines
provided in the corresponding feature parameter descriptions.
