Fare Rules
Commission
Effective 01 February 2008, there is no commission for all fare types issued on KLM document in Malaysia.
Application
All tickets is no valid if the first coupon has not been used and will not be honoured if the coupons are not used in sequence.
Departure 01 April Min stay 7 days = 08 April from last stopover point
Max stay 1 month = 01 May from last stopover point
Child Discounts
The age limits referred to in this rule shall be those in effect of the date of commencement of travel. Infants who reached their 2nd birthday during their
travel will be required to occupy a seat on the outbound and inbound flight.
Accompanied child 2-4 – charge 75% of the adult fare. Ticket designator – CH25.
Must be accompanied on all flights be adult 18 years or older.
Accompanied child 5-11 – charge 75% of the adult fare. Ticket designator – CH25.
Must be accompanied on all flights by adult 15 years or older.
Infant under 2 with seat – charge 75% of the adult fare. Ticket designator – CH25.
Must be accompanied on all flight by adult 18 years or older. 1 adult passenger aged at least 18 years may be accompanied by a maximum of 2 infants
of who can be booked as infant occupying a seat.
Infant under 2 without a seat – charge 10% of the adult fare. Ticket designator – IN90.
Must be accompanied on all flight by adult 18 years or older. 1 adult passenger aged at least 18 years may be accompanied by a maximum of 2 adults of
who 1 have to be booked as infant occupying a seat.
Stopover
Stopover charge (if applicable) is automatically added by the GDS when the PNR is auto priced. See the STOPOVER section in the GDS fare rules for
stopover charges.
Transfers/Routing
Air France and KLM fares are point to point. For additional stopovers, apply SkyTeam Europe Pass or sector fare.
Air France
Air France fares are available ex-KUL, PEN, KCH or SIN only.
For travel from other domestic MY, issue separate tickets.
Example: KUA-KUL-SIN-PAR
KUA-KUL, issue separate ticket.
KUL-SIN-PAR, apply ex-KUL fare.
Surcharges
Surcharges are automatically added by the GDS when the PNR is auto priced.
Air France
Travel between KUL and SIN on MH and SQ, a surcharge may be added depending on fare type to the applicable fare. (see TRANSFER section in the GDS
fare rules).
Endorsement
Endorsement is auto generated by the GDS when the PNR is auto priced. If there is no endorsement, the ticket must be annotated - NONENDO - in the
endorsement box. Tickets must show by the use of an insert or sticker that travel is at a special fare and subject to special conditions
Penalties
Changes
Please refer to the PENALTIES section in the GDS fare rules to check if changes are
permitted and change fee amount (if any).

- Fare difference must be collected on re-issued ticket. Change fees to be either collected on re-issued ticket as ADC.
- In case the ticket cannot re-issue the ticket, the change should not be made.
Travel agents will remain responsible to settle the change fee/fare difference with KLM if the above SSR is not inserted in PNR where a ticketed
reservation is modified and the applicable change fee/fare difference is not collected.
Cancellation
Please refer to the PENALTIES section in the GDS fare rules.
All cancellations are subject to administration fee of MYR200.
No Show
Please ensure reservations are cancelled before departure if your customer does not intend to travel. Failure to do so will result as a no-show
and all flight segments will be automatically cancelled. Please note, Air France and KLM fares does not permit change and ticket is non-
refundable if a passenger is deem as a no-show.

a. Economy + Economy (permitted on all Economy booking classes)
b. Business + Business (permitted on all Business booking classes)
c. Economy + Business (permitted B class + C class only)
d. Business + First (permitted C class + F class only)
Passenger
Passenger’s Name
Always ensure the passenger’s name in the reservation is according to passport. Name change on the ticket will require a new ticket to be issued. A
penalty of MYR275 per ticket will apply.

In order for Air France and KLM to provide better service to your customers in the event of a flight disruption, we request for passenger's home and/or
mobile contact and also contact at all stopover points must be inserted in the PNR.
Ticketing
Validating Carrier
All Air France and KLM reservations MUST be validated on KL as KLM document (074) is used for ticketing.
Check-In
Internet
Check-in at www.klm.com.my from 30 hours up to 1 hour before departure.
Advantages of internet check-in:
Kiosk
At KLIA, the check-in kiosk are available from 30 hours up to 1 hour before departure. A frequent flyer card, passport or credit card is required for
check-in. Passengers can select their seating and print their boarding pass.
Counter
KLM check-in counters are located on row J at KLIA. Counters open 3 hours and close 1 hour before departure.
Lounge
Business Class and SkyTeam Elite Plus passengers are invited to the Plaza Transit Lounge located at the Mezzanine Floor of the Satellite Building.

Flying Blue
Members of Flying Blue program can earn frequent flyer miles on all AF and KL booking classes (including group). Mileage can also be earned on
SkyTeam airlines as well as Malaysia Airlines except domestic, KUL-PAR, KUL-ZRH, KUL-ROM and TWU-TRK. For free enrollment, visit www.klm.com.my

Additional baggage allowance can be purchase through internet check-in at www.klm.com.my or up to 24 hours before schedule flight departure from
the Air France and KLM office at 30% discount off the excess baggage price at the check-in counters. Excess baggage is not commissionable and not
refundable.
The additional kilos are purchase in units of 5kg. 5-10-15-20….45 or 50kg max per passenger per journey and valid on Air France, KLM, Northwest
(between AMS and BOM only) or Kenya Airways operated flights only.
