C.K. Prahalad -Extract from "Fortune at the Bottom of the Pyramid"
If we stop thinking of the poor as victims or as a burden and start recognizing them as
resilient, creative entrepreneurs and value-conscious consumer, a whole new world of
opportunity will open up. What is needed is a better approach to help the poor: an approach
that involves partnering with them to innovate and achieve sustainable win-win scenarios
where the poor are actively engaged and, at the same time, the companies providing products
and services to them profit, too.
Jetking has also been actively involved in spreading computer literacy amongst the masses.
The Gordhandas P. Bharwani Computer Centers set up by the company are testimony to this
effort. These centers provide computer training to students who come from underprivileged
families and cannot afford the same. Jetking's six operational centers impart computer
literacy to these youngsters at a minimal fee of Rs.100/-per month. Each center has six
computers. Thus, 12 students get trained in batches of 2 for an hour each day. In a day six
slots are operational. Thus 432 students get trained in computer usage, daily.
Dear Mr.Bharwani,
We are happy to inform you that the 30 computers donated by Jetking to Dr ML Dhawale
Memorial Trust have proved extremely useful for clinical, academic as well as administrative
activities being carried out at Rural Homoeopathic Hospital, Palghar. We have set up the
Gordhandas P Bharwani Computer department with the help of these computers.

Strategy
63
A marketing strategy is a process that can allow an
organization to concentrate its (always limited) resources on
the greatest opportunities to increase sales and achieve a
sustainable competitive advantage.
A marketing strategy is most effective when it is an integral
component of corporate strategy, defining how the
organization will engage customers, prospects and
competitors in the market arena for success. It is partially
derived from broader corporate strategies, corporate missions,
and corporate goals. They should flow from the firm's mission
statement. They are also influenced by a range of micro
environmental factors.

SUGGESTION
1. The company needs to open some new branches for reaching our services
to every segment.
8.
66
67
The objective of this phase to include all the facts and
findings and our suggestion from which company can increase
its sale and came to know strategies about their competatior.
And most of the institutes use branding for their product so
HCL should has branding in local market as well in national
market .HCL should also provide short term courses with their
networking and other program.
