Award/ Achieve
What started out as a young man's dream, has transpired into a giant business that educates
and empowers India’s youth, with presence across the country.

Mr.Suresh Bharwani’s pioneering spirit and far reaching vision has earned him several
accolades.

Since 2004, Jetking has been consistently ranked as the leading Computer Hardware and
Training institute by Dataquest magazine, one of India's leading IT publications.

In 2005, Mr.Bharwani received the "Maharashtra IT manpower Development Award"

(second position) from the Government of Maharashtra.

Jetking Infotrain Limited was also awarded the "Hall of Fame" award in 2006. This award
was conferred on Jetking for its ground-breaking efforts in the franchising world by
Franchising India Holding Ltd. that went on to applaud his efforts in 2007 as well with the
"Best Franchiser Award".

In 2006-07, Jetking celebrated its Diamond Jubilee - 60 years of excellence in the India’s
electronics and IT industry

He was also awarded the "Pike's Peak Award" in 2007 by the Bob Pike Group, an
international performance solutions organization that pioneered Creative Training Techniques
to deliver technical training in a fun, faster and easier way.

Then followed the Udaan Samman-2008 by the Navbharat Times group for pioneering the
trend of vocational training in India.

One of Mr.Bharwani’s proudest moments came when he was applauded for his contribution
in the area of Corporate Social Responsibility in 2008, by Rambhau Mhalgi Prabodhini.

Over the years, countless students have imbibed the Jetking philosophy of success and hard
work and have gone on to make a name for themselves in the Indian software industry.

CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY (csr)

Empowering the Youth

36
C.K. Prahalad -Extract from "Fortune at the Bottom of the Pyramid"
If we stop thinking of the poor as victims or as a burden and start recognizing them as
resilient, creative entrepreneurs and value-conscious consumer, a whole new world of
opportunity will open up. What is needed is a better approach to help the poor: an approach
that involves partnering with them to innovate and achieve sustainable win-win scenarios
where the poor are actively engaged and, at the same time, the companies providing products
and services to them profit, too.

Empowering the Girl Student

A great believer in the equality of the sexes and independence of

women, Jetking awards a 25 percent fee discount to all girl
students, enabling them to carve out a successful career and to
lead an independent life.

Empowering the Underprivileged

Jetking has also been actively involved in spreading computer literacy amongst the masses.
The Gordhandas P. Bharwani Computer Centers set up by the company are testimony to this
effort. These centers provide computer training to students who come from underprivileged
families and cannot afford the same. Jetking's six operational centers impart computer
literacy to these youngsters at a minimal fee of Rs.100/-per month. Each center has six
computers. Thus, 12 students get trained in batches of 2 for an hour each day. In a day six
slots are operational. Thus 432 students get trained in computer usage, daily.

LETTER OF APPRECIATION FROM THE RURAL HOMOEOPATHIC HOSPITAL

Dear Mr.Bharwani,

We are happy to inform you that the 30 computers donated by Jetking to Dr ML Dhawale
Memorial Trust have proved extremely useful for clinical, academic as well as administrative
activities being carried out at Rural Homoeopathic Hospital, Palghar. We have set up the
Gordhandas P Bharwani Computer department with the help of these computers.

We have installed 4 different homoeopathic software’s in our OPDS (HOMPATH, CARA,

Radar & Organon'96). This allows quick referencing of Homoeopathic repertoires and
shortens time taken for prescriptions.

Strategy

63
A marketing strategy is a process that can allow an
organization to concentrate its (always limited) resources on
the greatest opportunities to increase sales and achieve a
sustainable competitive advantage.
A marketing strategy is most effective when it is an integral
component of corporate strategy, defining how the
organization will engage customers, prospects and
competitors in the market arena for success. It is partially
derived from broader corporate strategies, corporate missions,
and corporate goals. They should flow from the firm's mission
statement. They are also influenced by a range of micro
environmental factors.

64
65
SUGGESTION

Following are the recommendations useful for HCL CDC:

1. The company needs to open some new branches for reaching our services
to every segment.

2. Requires maintaining its success growth rate in future as competition is

becoming more stiff and cutthroat.

3. They need to establish a well equipped library.

4. Cut the cost of course.

5. Increase the promotional activity.

6. Increase the staff.

7. Management must be flexible and must have better coordination and

future.

8.

66
67
The objective of this phase to include all the facts and
findings and our suggestion from which company can increase
its sale and came to know strategies about their competatior.
And most of the institutes use branding for their product so
HCL should has branding in local market as well in national
market .HCL should also provide short term courses with their
networking and other program.
