"What separates you from a person with a disability is not an abyss, but a small

step that you have to be encouraged to give." Some parents would reject the idea
of adopting a child with a disability and with all the problems this entails. However,
there are other people who can see more wings of the disease or need and
demonstrate a behavior worthy of being praised. Up to 3,000 children are
adopted, from countries such as Russia, China or Ethiopia, however, there are a
large number of children who need a family and are waiting for parents to take
care of them and offer them all the love and care that are given to a child. The
parents who have adopted one of these children say that these actions are done
by oneself, the least is what the family environment thinks about adoption, what
better parents, what shows of altruism are comments that are left over. Adopted
disabled children manage to enrich the lives of these families, psychomotor or
mental delays, congenital defects or any other problem are not impediments for
children to offer all the love that in their hearts nests and adoptive parents know
how to appreciate. The adoption of children with disabilities in our country is
minimal. It is foreign families that make that decision, however it is not enough.
Although children have papers ready for adoption, there is no one to accept them.
The first family to adopt a child with disabilities says that it is the most beautiful
experience you can live.
