Self-Reflection

I think that there are not bad or good teachersfinally, we are humans with

emotions and not always are in a good or bad mood. Teacers need a mix of

characteristics for making a good work in their classes. Sometimes I need to be a

little strictic with my students because they are so cleaver and try to realize what

my intentions to class control I have. Students frequently want to take control of the

class and sometimes this is not good to make effective classroom activities.

So, I convinced that as a teacher, I need to have some characteristics of bad

teachers, like to be: strictic, didnt discuss another problems in class (sometimes

this kind of action consumes a lot of time and, the most important thing, not always

are real problems: are an strategie for consume class time and to do nothing).

I agree teachers need to know their students: their hobbies, whose are their fanes,

their pleasures, their phobias, what things or situations like or dislike, and so

onbut as teachers, we cannot allow to lose the class control.

Finally, to improve my teacher performance I believe I need to put in a balance

in which situation I need to be a little bad teacher and when to be a good teacher,

always with ethic, values and love. I should working on the level of my tests,

making tests more easier to understand, knowing the learning style of my students;

being more like a comedian, I love playing table games, so, Ill improve the use of

5
this games as attractive tools to maintain the motivation of my students, making a

funny and cognitive way to improve students acquisition in learning process.
