Prior Knowledge: What knowledge are you building on?

Students already know some vocabulary words in the story such as; the chair, floor, bed, room, pink,

blue, clothes, and food.

Lesson Objectives: These must be SMART objectives specific, measurable, achievable, relevant,

time bound

By the end of the lesson, students will be (better) able to:

1. Before reading the story teacher will talk about the birthday invitations (In the carpet)

Today we are going to meet new friends that want you guys to join them in their

Who can read the tittle of the book?

Who can show me the authors name? (Who wrote this story?)

Activity 1,reading: Teacher will distribute different worksheet that include high, middle and low

levels activities for each group (4 groups), After finishing students will start reading their answers

on the board, (Teacher will use a PowerPoint to explain it in clear way). 10 Minutes

Activity 2,vocabulary: Teacher will start doing the classifying activity; students should classify

clothes and foods by using A3 papers and eight different pictures of the vocabulary words for each

group (4 groups). 10 Minutes

Activity 3,writing: Teacher will give each student a worksheet (write your opinion about the story),

Students should write the title of the storybook, draw and choose favorite character from the story

and write why? Color how many stars would you like to give this book (individually). 10 Minutes
