I. Classroom Policies
Late comers are considered absent. Once the roll is called those who are not yet in the room shall be considered absent.
7 absences for twice a week class or 3 absences for once a week class is tantamount for dropping from the class unofficially.
Manners and class decorum will always be observed.
In reporting, follow the format as discussed during the class orientation. The students will decide whether they would use LCD Projector all
throughout the semester or Manila Papers as visual aids in reporting.
If Manila Papers will be used, use uniform size which is half of the regular cut of Manila Paper. Prints must not be smaller than 1 inch per letter.
Parts of the Visual Aid
- Name of reporter
- Topics
- Learning Outcomes (more specified than in the learning plan)
- Introduction
- Body (in an outlined form and bulleted). Write details briefly: define when there are definitions, enumerate when there are enumerations,
important points or sentences that will help explain and understand the topics must be copied verbatim.
- Summary. In a nut shell.
7|Page
- References at least 5 book references & at least 5 website references

Order/Manner of Reporting
- Recap of the preceded reporters topic
- Introduce own topic and relate with the former reporters topic
- Read each bullet (topic) in the visual aid and explain in your own words in English, paraphrase the concept (no reading, no delivery from the
memorized texts).
- Each report much not exceed 5 minutes
- The lecture reserves the right to interrupt the reporters presentation for corrections and for further explanations.
- Question and Answer. After the presentation, the reporter will have to declare an open forum. In Q & A, non-reporter will raise relevant
questions to be answered by the reporter, and by the lecturer for clarifications and insights.
- Discussion. The lecturer injects his/her inputs, and then wraps up the topic and call the next reporter.
- Quiz (based on the learning outcome). After all the group members have reported a 10 to 20 items quiz will be administered to the non-
reporting group.

Cases, if any, will have similar order of presentation, except for the format.
Report and case presentations shall be rated as: Beginner (75% 77% ***); Medium (78% - 81% ***/); Intermediate (82% 86%****); Advance
(87 92%****/); and Expert (93% - 100%*****).
Hard copy of the written report/case must be submitted during or before presentation.
Written reports must be written also in an outlined form but more detailed than the visual aid. Font: Arial, size: 12, margin: All sides at 1.00, left
gutter: 0.05
