Control rectification of cable faults from grid station to sub stations, high tension cable faults, LT
cable faults, test CTs, RMUs, Switches, from testing equipments.
Supervise testing gangs and AEs for pin pointing of underground cable faults.
Supervise jointer gangs and AEs for rectifications of faults.
Control logistics.
Supervise excavation labor and work.
Supervise system improvement program work.
MAJOR Maintain faults history on SAP software, preparing notification and work till closing of fault.
RESPONSIBILITIES Survey of High Tension (11Kv) and Low Tension (0.42Kv) electric power cable routes.

Supervise the excavation of the cable route according to route sheets and estimate.
To perform the work of installation and lying of high tension cables up to 300 mm square size.
Pulls Power cables through conduit, trenches, tunnels, volts and manholes.
Splicing, bonding and racking the cables and connect them with the switches, transformers. Fuse
boxes and distribution boards or panels.
Meager test of cable for testing the insulation and continuity of the cable.
Test the cables as required at Grid Stations, Sub Stations and ring main units before installations.
Replaces worn cables and repair break in cables by jointing like cast resin type, heat shrink and cold
shrink type.
