LORAS COLLEGE WIND ENSEMBLE: THE

SWEETEST MUSIC THIS SIDE OF HEAVEN

DUBUQUE, IA

In their 177th year, the Wind Ensemble hopes to draw a large crowd of students, facility,

and community members to their Fall concert. Under the direction of Dr. Glenn Pohland, the

Loras College Wind ensemble will take to The Fieldhouse, on Thursday, October 27th, at 7:30

PM. The Fieldhouse, is just North of the Alta Vista Street and Loras Boulevard intersection; next

to Christ the King Chapel

This will be the Wind Ensembles first concert after the Visitation fire, where rehearsals

are held. In hopes to show everyone the perseverance of Loras College students, Dr. Pohland has

selected many technical pieces to display the bands great abilities. The program is filled with

both contemporary and classical pieces, it should be an enjoyable for the entire family.

With a history of starting the concert exactly on time, it would be recommended to arrive

at least 25 minutes early. The show is free and seats are limited, so make sure you get here early

enough to secure your seat.
