Age group: 3-5 years old/ Group size: 6 children

How it would be used with children? This activity can be used with children in the

classroom as an educational learning game with letters.

Language arts outcomes of the activity? Alphabets , (A, b, c , d , e ,f ,g ,h ,i ,j ,k

,l ,m ,n ,o ,p ,q ,r ,s ,t ,u ,v ,w ,x ,y ,z).Colors (red ,blue , green ,purple ,yellow and

orange ) The language arts outcome from this activity can be for the children to

learn, be familiar with the alphabets. Also, the other learning outcome is colors

children can learn their primary colors.

How can other teachers make this activity? Step-by-step

1. Tape the sheets of paper together.(all 3)

2. With a ruler box in 26 spaces for letters.

3. In each box create one letter of the alphabet.

4. You can style or decorate however you choose.

Materials:

1. 1 Transparent board

2. 3 Sheets of paper (18-12)

3. Tape

4. Paper cutters

5. Ruler

6. Glue

7. One 8 pack of markers

8. Crayons

9. 1 Black permanent marker

10.Objects ( Small ball, bag of rice)

How to play? Description of activity.

1. Place the transparent board on the floor facing up.

2. Children will choose an object.

3. Children will pair up (Three groups of two)

4. Children will toss their object in pairs on the transparent board.

5. When object falls a box.

6. Child is going to be asked the letter and color? Each student has three tries.

7. Points will be gathered.

8. The pair that has the most points will win a prize.

The cost for this project equaled to zero dollars .I used classroom items and

household items.
