2017 year - a successful story for the CeProSARD team
Dear colleagues, associates and readers, at the end of 2017 when we make the final observations
of the past activities, we are pleased to see the successful completion of the work of CeProSARD
team. During this year, we organized six cycles of trainings for energy auditors, of which one for our
colleagues in Bitola; we worked on projects for improvement of the rural infrastructure together with
the Municipal Services Improvement Project team, that were funded by the International Bank for
Reconstruction and Development (World Bank); we worked hard to develop new projects in the field
of our work. In 2017 we signed new contracts for implementation of new projects and in the next
year we will start with their realization. We attended trainings and seminars, and improved our
knowledge and skills. We also enlarged our team with new members. And here we are, almost at
the end of 2017, looking forward to celebrate the 10th anniversary of our organization, right after
the Christmas holidays. By announcing the new, motivating projects we invite you to join us in the
development of new ones in the next year. I wish you

In the month of November and December 2017 in the Study on location selection for construction of a
premises of the training center CeProSARD continued the collection and purchase center for fruits and vegetables
training for the improvement of energy auditors in Tetovo

CeProSARD team continued with the organization of
trainings for the improvement of energy auditors. The fifth and
sixth cycle were held at the CeProSARD training center. The
trainings were conducted in accordance with the current
legislation - the Law on Energy and the Program for the
Improvement of Energy Auditors established by the Rulebook on
Energy Audit. The interest of the energy auditors for their
improvement and the extension of the authorizations significantly
increased following the announced changes in the legislation
related to energy.
In December 2017, in cooperation with the
Department for Local Economic Development (LED) in the
municipality of Tetovo, we started with the preparation of
the "Feasibility Study for selection of location for
construction of a collection and purchase center for fruits
and vegetables in the villages of Shar Planina , in the
Municipality of Tetovo". The preparation of the feasibility
study is an integral part of the Strategy for rural
development of the Municipality of Tetovo where main
priorities are promotion of the economic development of the
rural areas, reducing the unemployment and the outflow of
population from these regions. By undertaking such
activities, the Municipality of Tetovo, together with the team
of CeProSARD, makes significant efforts to create
preconditions for sustainable development of the local
community.
 CeProSARD participated in improving the situation for preschool education in the rural areas of the
municipality of Strumica with funds from the EU IPA grant for rural infrastructure

In order to prepare a document for evaluation of the project "Adaptation of existing municipal facilities in kindergartens" in two
rural settlements in the Municipality of Strumica, in November 2017, representatives of the CeProSARD, engaged by the
MSIP project at the Ministry of Finance, visited the Municipality of Strumica. Separate meetings were held with the Mayor of
the Municipality Mr. Kosta Janevski, members of the Municipal Council, citizens from the settlements Kuklish and Murtino and
the municipal administration. The purpose of the meetings was to determine the actual needs for adaptation of municipal
facilities into kindergartens in the rural settlements Kuklish and Murtino.

CeProSARD at the fair for non-governmental organizations in the Youth Cultural Center

In December our team participated at the NGO Fair titled "Active Citizenship, Better Society" with presentation of materials and mini
forums. We promoted our organization in order to achieve better acquaintance and networking with the present non-governmental
organizations. The fair was held on December 6, 2017 for the third time in a row, by the Volunteers Center Skopje, with the support
of the City of Skopje.
