have applewood flavor whether you grill or bake. I
cut pork tenderloin into 1" boneless chops. You can
‘rub’ the dry Applewood Seasoning Mix in, but I
just generously coated both sides of the meat with
it. Place in a foil-lined baking pan or on the grill
and cook until the juices run clear (approx. 20-25
minutes). The results were wonderful flavor and
tender, juicy meat. We ate it as a main dish the first
night and as sandwiches the next day. Very good!

The next time you cook fresh cranberries for a holiday feast, put 4-5 whole
cloves, a few whole allspice berries and some pieces of cinnamon stick in a
small muslin bag and close tightly. Mix 2 Tbsp. Instant Clear Jel (#2888), with
1 ½ cups sugar, then add 1 ½ water, 2 Tbs. orange juice concentrate and the
spice bag to 4 cups of fresh cranberries. Bring to a boil and stir continually
until thickened. Remove from heat and cool. Great anytime with turkey,

of course, but rehydrate it with a little water and use it in dressing for
that turkey or pork roast or even potato salad. Celery is always good to
have on hand!

I threw ½ cup of Super Sweet Corn (#1962) in my turkey noodle soup.

It surprised me how quickly it became soft and chewable in the boiling
broth. It was tasty. I think it could be rehydrated a bit and used in
my corn chowder. I had never used this product before, but it will be a
great addition to my food storage.

My family loves creamed peas and carrots with potatoes. Carrot Dices
(#1961) are sweet and delicious. Add them to cream soups before you
thicken the sauce and they will rehydrate better. Another colorful and
nutritious vegetable to add to my food storage for soups and casseroles!
