SECTION 1. GENERAL

1.1 Scope of Application

This procedure shall be applied to preparation of full size drawings, fabrication, coating, packing,
transportation and delivery for the CABLE ANCHORAGE of the Main Bridge of The Cuu Long (Can
Tho) Bridge Construction Project (here in after called the Project) executed by Mitsui Thang Long
Steel Construction Co., Ltd. (MTSC) at shop.

1.2 Standards and Codes

Following standards and codes shall be applied to the fabrication of structural steel members and
accessories:
(1) Technical Specification of the Project.
(2) JIS / Japanese Standards Association.
(3) AWS D1.1 / The AWS D1.1 Structural Welding Code-Steel, 2004.
(4) ISO.

1.3 General Outline of the Project
