Directions: ​In this individual assignment, you will create an ABC booklet that describes the East Asian Empires. Information 
to create your book can be found in Chapter 16, pg. 482-503 of your textbook. You will create a booklet using all 26 letters 
of the alphabet to describe a cause, effect, event, or person who was significant in the East Asian Empire, each page will 
include the following: 
● Letter with a word or phrase and definition/explanation 
○ Example: If our book was about Islamic Empires you could say “A” is for Allah who is the name of God for 
Muslims. 
● A symbol or picture that accompanies each letter. Each symbol should help the reader better understand the 
meaning of the word being described.  
○ Example: For Allah, you could draw the symbol that represents Islam 
Rubric: 
● Each letter has a defined word or phrase in the book  _____/26 
● Each letter has a symbol or drawing to accompany the letter  _____/26 
● Information in the book is accurate, neat, and visually appealing  _____/8
