In socials we have been looking at first nations culture. Students have been examining first nations art
and the stories that they portray. While at the museum, students will be able to explore the elements of
design that is portrayed in first nations art. Students have been studying the different elements of design
throughout the past few classes, and through this experience they will be able to see these elements in
first nations art and think about the impact it has on the piece.
