SCOPE OF WORK
Base Bid
1. Provide services for an operational E-85 fuel dispensing system at Patapsco Fleet
Services as indicated in the attached drawings C-2.01, ME-0.1, E-1.1, dated 10/21/11, C-
1.02 dated 1/13/12, and spec. sections 01000, 260500, 260519, 260523, 260526, 260529,
260533, 260543, 260533, 260726, 262813, 262816 and 321313 dated 1/10/12.
NOTE: the layout as shown on ME-0.1 has been modified. The revised layout is shown
on C-1.02.
a. Relocate existing 10,000 gallon E-85 aboveground tank from the Motor Transport
Services area to the Patapsco Building.
b. Transfer up to 3,000 gallons of E-85 product
c. Disconnect electric wiring at MTS area
d. Relocate E85 dispenser with Bravo box and GasBoy fuel management system
from existing MTS location to Fleet Services Bldg. and connect in the new
location at Patapsco
e. Remove tank from existing pad at MTS, transport tank to site and set on new
concrete pad
f. Furnish and install aboveground steel piping
g. Furnish and install electric and low voltage conduit and wiring from the
panelboard to the equipment. (Wiring from Building 805 to the panelboard is by
others)
h. Furnish and install fuel level remote monitoring panel for E85 system.
i. Provide momentary contact weatherproof emergency shutoff pushbutton with
Lexan cover
j. Fees and permits
k. Coordinate with the electrician and concrete contractor

1/10/12. NOTE: the layout as shown on M1.1 and ME-0.1 has been modified. The
revised layout as shown on C-1.02 indicates the fuel dispensing pump with a fill tank will
be located at the end of the above ground fuel storage tank and only requires above
ground piping. Work includes:
a. Furnish and install one 10,000 gallon UL-2085 aboveground storage tank.
NOTE: a containment dike and rain shield as shown on the drawing is not
required.
b. Furnish and install Tank accessories
c. Furnish and install aboveground steel piping
d. One Dresser Wayne dispenser for gas or equal with duel hose w/accessories,
nozzles, breakaway, swivels, two retractors for hoses.
e. Furnish and install electrical wiring from fleet services building to island and tank
for gasoline. Furnish and install momentary contact weather proof emergency
shutoff button with Lexan cover on electrical distribution rack.
f. Furnish & install Veeder-Root 350 fuel tank monitoring system with probes,
sensor, conduits, wiring, start-up and training.
g. Furnish and install leak detection monitoring system with exterior overfill alarm
and acknowledgement switch alarm Fees and permits. The system will be
mounted on the fuel tank; therefore, eliminating the need for underground piping
as shown on M-1.1
h. Modify fuel level remote monitoring panel for gas system
i. Coordinate with the electrician and concrete contractor

Furnish and install one 12,000 gallon UL-2085 aboveground storage tank with containment
dike and rain shield in lieu of the 10,000 gallon indicated above.
