Slavery & Servitude 2010

Loyalty is faithfulness or a devotion to a person, country, group, or cause.1

Records revealed that the Georgia Railroad and Banking Company owned at least 162 slaves,
Wachovia said, and that the Bank of Charleston accepted at least 529 slaves as collateral on
mortgaged properties or loans. The Bank of Charleston also acquired an undetermined number of
people when customers defaulted on their loans.2 (Wachovia, A Wells Fargo Company3)

"Companies are going to lose their best people," Harkness said. "If they do not build loyalty, those
employees are going to be out the door."4 (Helen Harkness, founder of Career Design Associates in
Garland)

If employees don't understand what's going on, they create a scenario from "rumors and a lack of
information," said Ted Marusarz, Hewitt's leader of global engagement and culture. "As engagement
goes down, productivity goes down." (Hewitt Associates Inc.)

Still, one-third of working Americans plan to look for a new job once the economy improves,
according to Deloitte. Lack of trust or transparency were cited as top reasons for wanting to leave
their current employer.

"Companies are going to lose their best people," Harkness said. "If they do not build loyalty, those
employees are going to be out the door."

Congress has lost the loyalty of many Americans; America is losing the faith of the people of the
world.

“as long as this country trusts in God it will prevail”

The people of this great country still places faith in the government but those that lead the
government have placed their loyalty in that of Corporate America, the banks and to their financial
success at the expense of the people of this country. The courts of the land are to serve justice as
according to written laws, in today’s financial disaster it appears as the judge’s allegiance is not for
that of the people or that of the government.

It can be said that we need to do “this or that” (bring back gold), but, until the ones in the
government are replaced any actions of change will be futile.

This author highly advises, vote this election and replace those that need to be replaced with one
that matters and offers up a better chance of initiating reform.

VOTE, VOTE, This November Vote…
