1. On a map, the distance between two points is 14 cm. The real distance between 8 M
them is 20 Km. Draw a Diagonal scale of this map to read kilometers and
hectometers, and to measure up to 25 Km.

2. The major axis of an ellipse is 150 mm long and the minor axis is 100 mm long. 8M
Find the foci and draw the ellipse using Oblong method.
3 The top view of a line AB, 75mm long measures 50mm. The end A is 40mm in 8M
front of VP and 15mm below H.P. B is 15mm in front of V.P. and is above H.P.
Draw the projections of the line and determine the distance of B from H.P. and the
inclinations of the line AB with both the planes.

4 Two oranges on a tree are respectively2.0m and 3.5m above the ground and1.5m 8M
and 2.0m away from0.2m thick compound wall, but on the opposite sides of it. The
distance between the Oranges, measured parallel to the wall along the ground is
2.7m. Determine the real distance between the Oranges. Take scale 1m = 10 mm.
5 A square ABCD of 50 mm side has its corner A in HP, its sides equally inclined 8M
to HP. Draw its projections.

6 A circle of 50 mm diameter, having its plane vertical and inclined at 300 to VP. 8M
Draw its projections when its center is 30mm above HP and 20mm in front of VP
7 Draw the projections of a cylinder 70mm diameter and 100 mm long axis lying on 8M
the ground with its axis inclined at 300 to the VP and parallel to the ground.
OR
8. A semicircular plate of 80 mm diameter has its straight edge in the V.P. and 8M
inclined at 450 to the H.P. The surface of the plate makes an angle of 300 with the
V.P. Draw its projections.
9. Draw the Front and Top views of fig. 8M

10 Draw the isometric view of a cylinder having a base diameter of 50mm and height 8M
of 80mm.
