Estimate Amount Rs.1.00 lakhs

The work"Construction of culvert at Pedakadimi",Est.Cost.Rs.1.00 lakhs was sanctioned under

ZPGF 2007-2008 vide Progs.Rc.No C1/4529/2007 Dt.19.9.2007 of the CEO,ZP,Eluru

The estimate for the work was technically sanctioned vide SDR No.394/2007-08 Dt.13.11.2007
of the Dy.E.E,PRI,Eluru with the following provisions:-

1.Curtain walls with CC(1:3:6) on four sides

2.RCC NP2 class hume pipes of 300mm dia along with collars
3.CC(1:2:4) for Ramp

But after inspection of the work spot and as per the local enquiry,it is found that a skew slab
culvert of 2.00m span and 17.00m length is necessary to divert the water flow from right side of the road to left side.
Further,it is necessary to provide 600mm dia NP3 class RCC pipes to guide run-off water from the street on right
side into the slab culvert,so that there will not be any problem for formation of approaches on all the three sides to
fecilitate traffic without any hindrance.

But due to paucity of funds,only the following provisions could be accomodated in the present
estimate:-
1.Earth work excavation for abutments
2.M10 grade PCC of 0.15m thick as bed concrete
3.Abutments upto a height of 0.58m using PCC M15 grade nominal mix.

The Hon'ble MLA,Denduluru has proposed the balance work under CDP grant for an amount of
Rs.3.00 lakhs(Copy of the letter enclosed).The following balance provisions will be made in that estimate of
obtaining administrative sanction:-

1.Abutments for the balance height of 0.97m

2.Bed blocks of 0.45m width and 0.23m thickness using M20 grade nominal mix
3.Deck slab of 0.275m thickness using RCC M20 grade nominal mix
4.Cost,supply and laying of 600mm dia RCC NP3 class plain ended pipes---5.00 Rmt
5.Formation of approaches with barrowed earth on three sides---
6.Formation of GSB layer of 0.15m thickness on three sides---

Further the following lump sum provisions are also made in the present estimate:-

1)Provision for VAT @ 4.00%

2)QC charges @ 0.5%
3)Provision for insurance@ 0.5%

The estimate is prepared as per the current SSR,i.e.2010-2011 rates and as per
the A.P Revised Standard data work will be carried out as per APDSS.
