COURSE OVERVIEW:
The focus of this course is to introduce the learner to User Experience (UX) Design
techniques and User Interface (UI) Design tools which goes hand in hand with each other.
The goal is to design artifacts that allow the users to meet their needs in the most effective
efficient and satisfying manner. The course introduces the novice to a cycle of discovery
and evaluation and a set of techniques that meet the user's needs which is then associated
for making the elegant and beautiful (UI). Overall it will help you quick start your career as a
proficient and complete packaged designer.
Whether you’re running your first usability study or user-testing an enhancement, our
expert-taught tutorials can help you improve the user experience of any product you’re
dealing with and you’ll also capacitate yourself to build a solid foundation in interface and
interaction design allowing you to develop a strong portfolio of work that demonstrates your
understanding of core principles.
User experience encompasses all aspects of the end-user’s interaction with the
company, its services, and its products.

2.0 Content Strategy 3 Hours
Content strategy includes planning for all content, not only copy, including images,
videos and PDFs. Here you will learn how to analyze, prioritize and think strategically
about content to create better user experiences.
Research is the core of a User Centered Design process. User Centered Design is the
application of thinking about the user’s point of view to solve a problem. Personas are a
realistic (from research) representation of a collection of specific user characteristics.
Learn about the importance of sketching and iteration in the wireframing process and
how to create paper prototypes.

5.0 Visual Design Elements 2 Hours
The number of mobile users has overtaken the number of traditional desktop users.
Unfortunately, there are still plenty of mobile apps and mobile sites that are not mobile
friendly and those experiences can sometime even be described as painful. It is your
role as a UX designer to make this experience easy, intuitive and even delightful.

UI DESIGN SYLLABUS (Around 6 Weeks)
Create coherent and balanced designs by making good use of color, typography and
other visual elements.
Learn how to effectively communicate through iconography, and design pixel perfect
icons using Illustrator.
• Design iOS apps considering their specific technologies and platforms and
different assets that goes into it and iOS UI Design.
• InVision Interactive Prototype.
Understand how to work with clients, manage expectations and set up workflows that
deliver the results clients are looking for.

07 Responsive Web Design 5 Hours
Create website designs that are optimized for all screen sizes including mobile, tablet,
and desktop using wireframes which was built by you in Axure RP 8
Create digital interfaces optimized for mobile considering touch interactions and
common usability patterns.
We’ve also gathered resources to help you develop a solid plan of action to break into
or supercharge your UI/UX design career.
