FOREWORD
This nursing research workbook and writing guidelines was conceptualized

with the end in mind that students will have a brighter research concepts in
effecting the nursing education. It is written to introduce the basics of
research and simplified how in can be applied.
Hence, this Workbook is designed to aid students in writing the required

components of each aspect of the thesis paper. This will gauge students to
improve their competencies following the Nursing Core Competencies Standards
and its respective major roles of the professional nurse on client care, leadership
and management, and research.
