meal can either be picked up and
taken home or consumed on our prem-

MISSION PROJECT –
SUPPORTING OUR VETERANS/TROOPS

Thank you so much to all who participated in bringing donations

for the Veterans on Men’s Sunday. We were very excited to
receive such an abundance of clothing which will be donated to
MANA House and they will
certainly come in handy for our Veterans in need.

Because Easter is earlier this year than most, I am currently in

need of any address changes/updates for our Church-connected
military. If you want your loved one to receive one of our love-
filled Easter cards, please make sure I
have the most current and up-to-date
mailing information. Cards will be
mailed during the 3rd week of March.
That is only one month away.

Making the common sacred

First Corinthians 10:31 (ESV) reminds us, “Whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.” Author
E.M. Bounds describes this mind-set as a “spirit of devotion” that “puts God in all things … not merely in our praying and
churchgoing.”

He writes: “The spirit of devotion makes the common things of earth sacred and the little things great. With this spirit of devo-
tion, we go to business on Monday directed by the very same influence, and inspired by the same influences, by which we went
to church on Sunday. The spirit of devotion makes a Sabbath out of Saturday and transforms the shop and the office into a temple
of God.”
