TYPE : Acrylated Alkyd Resin.

DESCRIPTION : Oxidizing mixed fatty acid based short oil acrylated alkyd resin solution.

SPECIFICATIONS :

SOLUBILITY: Soluble in aromatic hydrocarbons, esters, ketones, higher alcohols, glycol ethers, insoluble in
aliphatic hydrocarbons and water.

COMPATIBILITY: Synpol AC-424 is compatible with most amino resins, acrylated and vinylated alkyd resins and are
incompatible with medium and long oil alkyd resins.

APPLICATIONS : Synpol AC-424 is recommended for use in roller coating enamels and varnishes for metal
decoration, and very fast drying industrial finishes. It offers excellent resistance to water, petrol and oils. For roller coating
applications, aromatic hydrocarbons in the boiling range of 165 – 200oC are recommended. For pigmented roller coating
enamels traces of metallic driers or minor amount of amino resins may be used to increase surface hardness, however the
flexibility and forming properties may be adversely affected.

Flush eyes thoroughly with water. Apply
ophthalmic cortisone for conjunctivitis and
keratities. Wash out contaminated skin with soap
and water. Gastric lavage (stomach wash), if
swallowed, followed by saline catharsis.
Use dry chemical or carbon dioxide. Water spray
may help to keep containers cool, to dilute leaked
resins and to diffuse vapours.

Spills and leakage Absorb liquid materials in sand and collect solid
material and burn under hood in incinerator.

Disposal and waste treatment Spray into furnace under controlled conditions.

STORAGE :
Synpol AC-424 should be stored in cool place under shade. The properties are so adjusted to have storage stability of
minimum 6 months.

PACKING :
25 kgs. M.S. drums, 50 kgs. Plastic carboys and 200 kgs. M.S. barrels.
