Foundation Institute for Regional Development and entrepreneurship has
been set up in 2009 as adult education centre. Its main activities
concentrate around supporting sustainable development in the region of
Krzeszowice by providing training, conducting research and projects.
The main areas of focus are: active citizenship, promotion of
entrepreneurship, supporting regional tourism and ecology in the region.

Research study 2015 - 2016 on spa and wellness.

Research study on relational marketing and conducting study on


the level of client satisfaction from touristic services in health
resorts (2010) - project funded by Department of Education
Projects conducted with local partner: Tourism Institute in Cracow:

Active citizenship for the
benefit of regional development

Funding: Erasmus +, Adult Education Staff Mobility

The aim of the project is to stimulate and increase the motivation of adults
to be engaged on a social level, by expanding informal and non-professional
education for adults and seniors.

The participants: employees of the Foundation both management and
trainers, and volunteers, who are engaged with the Foundation on long-term
volunteering contracts.
!
Expected result: participation in trainings increased the knowledge and
skills of employees and volunteers in following subjects: education for
sustainable development, project management, communication, English and
inter-cultural skills, new and innovative and creative educational methods
especially those using art.
