Disinfectant Generation System

Preparation Of Sterisol
Sterisol super oxidized water is a high level disinfectant, which is produced on site using
Steri-gen disinfectant generation system.

Pre-installation requirements for demo installation:

1. A well ventilated area around 40-50 sq. feet.

2. Water point for regular supply of potable water (with low TDS).
3. Power connection 220 V, 15 Amp.
4. Drainage outlet.
5. Plastic containers for collection of Sterisol.

Sterisol generation parameters:

1. Sterisol should be produced using Sterisol-C electrolyte solution supplied by Faith

Biotech Pvt. Ltd.. Sterisol-C is a specially prepared electrolyte solution with the
required concentration of various salts at pre determined pH.
2. The current on the ammeter at the machine panel should be maintained between 8-
10 Amp.
3. The catholyte tap should be in closed position.

WARNING:

Steri-gen system should be operated only by trained personnel.

PROTOCOL – Application of Sterisol
1. AERIAL FUMIGATION:

Aerial Disinfection is to be carried out with Fogging machine with a droplet

size of 5-10 micron to ensure a safe and sterile environment.

CONCENTRATION: Undiluted
APPLICATION PROCEDURE:

1. Clean the room thoroughly before fumigation.

2. Do the Surface / Walls Disinfection with Sterisol using a clean mop
dipped in Sterisol (As per protocol for house keeping surface
disinfection).
3. Start Fumigation.
4. AHU should be kept on for the first 10 minutes of fumigation. Switch
off the AHU after 10 minutes.
5. Fumigation should be done for 25 minutes after switching off the
AHU.
6. After fumigation the room is to be closed for 45 minutes.
7. The AHU can now be switched on and the room is ready for use.

Notes :
• For optimum result the droplet size should be between 5-10 micron and
20 ml /m3 (560 ml /1000 CFT) volume to be used for fogging.
• The fumigation machine to be mounted 2 feet from the floor and it
should be moved to various areas of the room.
• The angle of the Pump to be kept at 45 degrees.
• Ensure that a proper mist is created in the area so that Sterisol is
suspended in the atmosphere, thereby giving complete aerial
Disinfection.
• After every fumigation, add plain water to the fumigation machine and
run it for 2 min. This will help in keeping the fogger clean.
• Supply correct voltage to the machine as recommended.
• Thoroughly wipe / clean the outer body and the tank of Fogger with
plane cloth after each fumigation.
