Preparation Of Sterisol
Sterisol super oxidized water is a high level disinfectant, which is produced on site using
Steri-gen disinfectant generation system.
WARNING:
CONCENTRATION: Undiluted
APPLICATION PROCEDURE:
Notes :
• For optimum result the droplet size should be between 5-10 micron and
20 ml /m3 (560 ml /1000 CFT) volume to be used for fogging.
• The fumigation machine to be mounted 2 feet from the floor and it
should be moved to various areas of the room.
• The angle of the Pump to be kept at 45 degrees.
• Ensure that a proper mist is created in the area so that Sterisol is
suspended in the atmosphere, thereby giving complete aerial
Disinfection.
• After every fumigation, add plain water to the fumigation machine and
run it for 2 min. This will help in keeping the fogger clean.
• Supply correct voltage to the machine as recommended.
• Thoroughly wipe / clean the outer body and the tank of Fogger with
plane cloth after each fumigation.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE:
Non Surgical
1. Take 5 ml Sterisol in Hand, using a dispenser
2. Rub Sterisol on your hands thoroughly, till it becomes dry (1-2 Min)
Surgical
1. Clean/scrub hands thoroughly, using standard technique
2. Take 10 ml Sterisol in Hand
3. Rub Sterisol on your hands thoroughly, till it becomes dry (3 min)

9. BIOFILM REMOVAL
APPLICATION PROCEDURE:
1. Mechanically clean the surfaces and lumens thoroughly.
2. Remove dirt, stain, blood or other body fluids, using mild detergent or
enzymatic cleaner.
3. Add 1 sachet of Corrosion Inhibitor (supplied by FBPL) in 5 Lit.
of SteriSol. This is required to reduce corrosive activity.
4. Flush the lumens of instruments if any (using syringe) with Sterisol
thoroughly. During the last flush leave Sterisol in the lumen.
5. For the removal of Biofilm, dip in Sterisol (Surface and lumen) for 20
min.
6. Dry the instrument in clean area.
7. Repeat Step 4 for stubborn Biofilm.
For maintaining Biofilm Free Surfaces, follow Instrument Disinfection
Guidelines.
Note: Biofilm removal may take more than one treatment cycle.
Confirm Biofilm removal using standard microbiology practices.
