currently taking up Doctorate of Philosophy in Language Teaching (English) at Western
Mindanao State University. As one of the requirements in EDL 308 – Sociolinguistics, I am
in the process of complying my mini-research entitled ‘Variations on Pronunciation Errors
on the /th/ Sound among Grade 11 Learners.’

If approval is granted, the Grade 11 learner-participants will be tasked to read orally during
their Reading and Writing Skills class on the 22nd of March 2017 at 7:30 A.M. in the School
Library. The data gathering will take no longer than two (2) hours. No costs will be
incurred by either your School or the individual participants.
