Summary

The using of technology sometimes distract people such as from medical practitioner from
having empathy for their patient such as not giving eye contact to the patient. Patient of course will
increase their worries because they need this reassurance from the medical practitioner so that would
make them feel better. But for those doctors who understand the needs of empathy, they can make
time to calm their patient. HR and medical also shared same concept as HR treat employer as doctor
treat their patient.

Human Resource officer also must put wisdom to their work such as have better communication
with employee although is this presence day, technology keep us to more interact with each other.

The HR leaders’ opportunity in this space is to be open and being receptive, have courage and
lead by bridging the powerful perceptions or individual stories about culture, engagement, and
performance together with the insights gleaned from the data from information gathered.

A McKinsey study with executives during the 2008 financial meltdown indicated how upper
management still believes that money still is the major factor of motivation, but they found that it take
more effort to tap into an individual’s unique, intrinsic motivators as to why they work and give their
best. All of this need the work from HR to create more engagement with employee so that mare talent
develops in the organization.
