possible causes:
a)Maladjustment of air disperser.
Remedy: Reset wings of air disperser, so that the slots through which the air is passing
are narrowed slightly. If result insufficient, repeat resetting until moist deposits
disappear.
MOST DEPOSITS ON THE WALLS OF THE DRYING CHAMBER IN THE SAME
HEIGHT AS THE ATOMIZER WHEEL.
possible causes:
a) Insufficient speed of the atomizer, so that the particles are too large.
Remedy: Increase the speed of the atomizer within the limit stated in the instructions for
the operation of the atomizer itself.
Remedies:
i) Homogenize sufficiently,
ii) Heat the feed if possible,
iii) Increase the speed of the atomizer.
possible causes :
a) A too high rate of feed, so that the evaporation capacity of the plant is exceeded.
Remedy: Do not switch over to product until both inlet and outlet temperatures have
reached the correct figures.

a)Irregular distribution of air.
Remedy: Inspect and clean the liquid distributor (this should be done daily).

a) The atomization is not sufficient.
possible causes:
a) A too high rate of feed so that the driving motor for the atomizer is overloaded. If this
is the case, the outlet air temperature will be falling.
Remedy: Stop the atomizer, take off V-belts, and inspect carefully atomizer and driving
motor.
Remedy: Careful checking of the electric motor for the atomizer by a skilled electrician.

Remedies: Check the number of revolutions for pressure and suction fans. Repair driving
motors if necessary. Check that the butterfly dampers have not gone out of the correct
position. Make sure that no blockings have occurred in air filter, air heater or ducting.
Remedy: Check steam pressure and increase if necessary. Open condenser valve and
check that no accumulation of condensation has taken place in the air heater.
Remedy: Inspect plant and repair damaged places. Especially check that all joints are
properly packed.
