Re: CORA Requests

Dear Ms. Miller and Ms. Bronson,

710 KNUS submits these open records requests pursuant to the Colorado Open Records Act, C.R.S.
§§ 24-72-200.1 - 24-72-205.5 (“CORA”):

1. Attorney Fee Billing records for billing with regard to the McDonald v. Hancock, Branch-Wise
litigation case from the Senter, Goldfarb & Rice law firm.

2. Attorney Fee Billing records for billing with regard to the McDonald v. Hancock, Branch-Wise
litigation case from the Wells, Anderson & Rice law firm.

3. All text messages from Mayor Hancock to Officer Branch-Wise while Ms. Branch-Wise was
assigned to the Mayor’s security detail.

4. Records regarding any claim on which the $75,000 payment to Ms. Branch-Wise was based.

5. All prior CORA requests made in regard or connected to McDonald v. Hancock, Branch-Wise
litigation case.

6. Letter to Cathy Havener Greer of the Wells, Anderson & Race law firm from former City Attorney
Scott Martinez or his agent in 2014 limiting representation by Ms. Greer in cases for the City and County of
Denver.

7. Attorney Fee Billing records for billing in 2017-2018 from Ridley, McGreevy & Winocur law firm
for representing former City Attorney Scott Martinez.

8. Attorney Fee Billing records for billing in 2016 from the Davis, Graham & Stubbs law firm
representing former City Attorney Scott Martinez or his agents regarding the District Attorney investigation of
the Brian Maass CORA request.

9. Attorney Fee Billing records for billing in 2016 from the Davis, Graham & Stubbs law firm
regarding the Stuart Shapiro employment matter.
10. Attorney Fee Billing records for billing in 2016 in the Hunter v. Denver litigation case from the
Faegre Baker Daniels law firm.

11. Report in 2014 or after from the Lewis Roca Rothgerber Christie law firm regarding the Denver
City Attorney Office’s protocols for handling and supplementing discovery in civil actions, Denver City
Attorney Office’s protocols related to ongoing internal affairs investigations in the City, and best practices
related to professional development in the Denver City Attorney’s Office.

12. Attorney Fee Billing records for all billing from the Lewis Roca Rothgerber Christie law firm from
July 2011 after Mayor Hancock was sworn in through the present.

13. Written waiver of conflict of interest that permitted Christina Habas to act as mediator in the
Hunter v. Denver litigation case after having represented detectives in the matter.

14. All prior CORA requests made in regard or connected to the Hunter v. Denver Litigation case.

If your agency does not maintain these public records, please let me know who does and include the
proper custodian's name and address.

We agree to pay any reasonable copying and postage fees of not more than $100. If the cost would be
greater than this amount, please notify me. Please provide a receipt indicating the charges for each set of
documents.

As provided by C.R.S. § 24-72-203(3)(b), I will expect your response within three (3) business days.

If you deny this request, please provide a written explanation for the denial including a reference to the
specific statutory exemption(s) upon which you rely. Also, please provide all segregable portions of otherwise
exempt material.
