    ARUNACHAL PRADESH PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION ITANAGAI No.PSC-R(B)/26/2017 Dated Itanagar, the 16" March, 2018 ADVERTISEMENT Online applications are invited from citizens of India for filling up of 114(one hundred fourteen) posts of Junior Engineer (Civil]/AUPO under various engineering departments, Govt. of ‘Arunachal Pradesh in the pay of PB-2 Rs.9300-34800 & GP Rs. 4200/- PM plus other allowances as admissible to Arunachal Pradesh Govt. employees Group-8 (Non-ministerial) from time to time. Vacancy position is subject to variation. Any vacancy/post(s) if received from other engineering departments will be included and notified before the written examination is held. 1. AGE: The candidates must have attained 18 years of age and should not be more than 30 years of age as on 20.04.2018. However, the upper age limit is relaxable in accordance with the orders issued by the Govt. of Arunachal Pradesh from time to time. NOTE: The Commission will adopt Recruitment Test (Objective type) before the written examination if it is necessary to do so. Contd... page-2/- . eee 3. EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION (a) For Junior Engineer under PHE & UD :- 3{three) years Diploma/Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University/Institution. {b) For Junior Engineer under PHE, UD & RWD:- 3{three) years Diploma in Civil Engineering/Agricultural Engineering/Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering/Agricultural Engineering from a recognized University/Institution. However, the final year students of the Engineering degree courses who are to appear for such final examination shall also be eligible to apply. Such candidates who are declared to have qualified by the Commission in the written competitive examination will have to produce original certificates or mark-sheets of passing their degree examination issued by the Assistant Registrar/Registrar/Controller of Examination/Vice-Chancellor of the concerned University will only be accepted by the Commission on or before the date of Interview/Viva-voce. Without the original certificate/mark-sheet they shall not be allowed to appear in the Viva-voce. 4, METHOD OF SELECTION: The eligible candidate will have to appear in written examination in the following subjects followed by Viva-voce/Interview to be conducted by the Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission at Itanagar on the basis of which selection will be finalized. (i) Compulsory paper {a) General English Maximum marks = 100 (b) General Knowledge Maximum marks = 100 (i) Technical paper (Civil Engineering) Maximum marks = 100 (iii) Interview/Personality test Maximum marks = 40 Total marks 340 The candidate who secured a minimum of 33% or more marks in each written examination papers and 45% or more marks out of aggregate total marks in the written examination papers shall be eligible for Interview/Viva-voce test. On the other hand, it will further mean that selection for Viva-voce shall be based on the aggregate total marks secured in the written examination papers and subject to ratio of 1:3. The candidates securing less than 33 % of ‘marks in any of written examination paper shall not be eligible for appearing in the Viva-voce. 5. FEE: Candidates are required to pay fee of Rs.100 for APST candidates and Rs.160 for Non- APST candidates through online. tes are required to apply online only using Website www.appse. .in. Brief instruction for filling up online application is available on the above mentioned Website. Syllabus of technical paper (Civil Engineering) can be downloaded from Commission's website www.appsc.gov.in. Contd.page-03/- (ii) (ii) Scanned copies of the following documents/information are to be attached/uploade: Self-attested copies of Degree Certificates/Diploma certificates and marksheets issued by the Assistant Registrar/Registrar/Controller of Examination/Vice-Chancellor of the concerned University to ascertain educational qualification. Pass-port size photographs with self-attestation in the front side. Self-attested copy of APST certificate for APST candidates and Permanent Residential Certificate/EPIC/Aadhar Card/ST/SC/OBC certificate for the candidates belonging to other States of India. Self-attested copy of Matriculation certificate for proof of Age issued by the Board/University only will be accepted. (v) Candidates already in service may apply direct to this Commission with intimation to his/her Head of Department or attach the NOC issued by the HoD/Controlling Officer. (vi) Self-attested copy of Meritorious sports certificate for Meritorious Sports persons. (vil) Self-attested copy of Medical Board Certificate for persons with PwD candidates. The decision of the Commission as to the eligibility or otherwise of candidate for admission to written examination or selection will be final and no correspondence or personal enquiry will be entertained 7.
