High school and college credit
through Austin Community
College (ACC) is awarded when
the student passes the college
course.
Taught by ACC adjunct college
faculty or high school instructors
approved by ACC.
Taught on the high school
campus or the ACC campus.
Accepted at public (and some
private) colleges and universities
in Texas as well as many
outside of Texas. Requires
semester average of “C” or
better for transferability from the
ACC transcript.
Students purchase textbooks.
No course fees 2018-2019.
Concurrent Enrollment

the high school and/or college
campus.
Open to all high school students.
High school and college credit
through UT Austin are awarded
separately for the high school
and college course. Students
may earn credit in one and not

partnership with the UT
professor of record.
Taught on the high school
campus and online concurrently.
Accepted at any colleges and
universities that accept transfer
credits from UT Austin.
