Over the past years | have had the pleasure of watching Ashley mature Into a determined, independent and hardworking young woman who truly values her community, friends, and family. Most importantly she is not afraid of a challenge or a little hard work | have had the opportunity to work with many young people as the Community Leader for the Snelling 4-H Club. Ashley excels in leadership and isa great mentor to our younger members. She has held numerous officer positions in our club and for the past 2 years she has been our club President. She does a wonderful job running the meetings efficiently and effectively. Whenever she Is asked to help ‘out Ashley has been right there to eagerly offer her assistance. ‘This past December | needed assistance coordinating our Community Christmas in the Park event. Ashley stepped up and helped in numerous different ways but what stood out was how she easly gathered the young members and encouraged them to participate in the various activities. She kept the young youth engaged ‘and made sure each one had a fun time. ‘Ashley will be a wonderful addition to the agriculture industry upon graduation from high school. | have no doubt that she will meet her goals of becoming a farrier after attending Pacific Coast Horseshoeing School. | hope that she decides to settle in California as we need more strong, intelligent, and determined agricultural minded women.
