Home tab
is the default tab in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint and other
Microsoft Office

Insert tab
is used to insert different features such as tables, pictures, clip art, shapes, charts, page
numbers, word art, headers, and footers into a document.

Design tab
you can add a theme or color scheme, or format the slide background.
Animation tab
to choreograph the movement of things on your slides.

Slide show tab

set up the way that you want to show your presentation to others.

Review tab
lets you add comments, run spell-check, or compare one presentation with another (such as
an earlier version).
View tab
allow you to look at your presentation in different ways, depending on where you are in the
creation or delivery process.

Ribbon
contains the commands and other menu items that were on menu and toolbars
in PowerPoint2003 and earlier.
