Ribbon

- Is designed to help you quickly find the commands


that you need to complete a task.

Home Tab

- Is a tab or button in an application or web page


that returns you to the home section.

- Has 6 task group

Insert Tab

- Is used to insert different features such as tables,


pictures, clip art, shapes, charts, page numbers,
word art, headers, and footers into a document.

- Has 7 task group

Design Tab

- Is where you can change table properties, create


and manage relationships, and modify
connections to existing data source.
- Has 3 task group

Animation Tab

- An entrance animation determines the manner in


which an object appears on a slide; for example,
an object can move onto a slide.

- Has 3 task group

Slide Show Tab

- Allows you to cycle through open tabs in a


particular browser window as though
each tab were a slide in a slideshow or
presentation.

Review Tab

- Is useful in a lot of ways. You can have the


Spelling and Grammar feature, the Research
option, Thesaurus and Translation functionality to
help you improve your documents.

View Tab

- This tab is used to view the presentation in


different formats, it is also used to view more than
one PowerPoint window at a time, or to decide
whether to display the ruler within the window.
