The various on- the job training provided by Infosys are:
a. Job rotation: Job rotation is a technique used by the employers to rotate their
employees' assigned jobs throughout their employment. It has introduced an onsite
rotation policy for employees and set an upper limit of 18 months on the duration that
employees can stay in overseas locations when they go for client-specific work.
b. Coaching: Infosys has a training center in Mysore which is the world’s biggest
training center.
c. Job instruction: The employees are provided with an overview about the job and
experienced trainers demonstrates the entire job to them. Addition training is also
offered to employees after evaluating their performance if needed.
d. Committee assignments: In this method trainees are asked to solve an actual
organizational problem. The trainees have to work together and offer solution to the
problems. It helps them to develop team spirit and work in a united way towards
common goals
e. Internship training:It is a practical experience opportunity offered by Infosys to
willing and capable beginners of a profession, for a fixed term.
