• Manage day to day operations of residential community of 70 students
• Assist in the supervision and mentorship of staff of three graduate Student Living Assistants
• Create and execute a 40-hour training covering duty expectations, emergency response,
programing, intercultural competency and operations
• Oversee all programming for the International House
• Manage a programing budget of $3500
• Serve in Professional Staff on-call duty rotation responding to issues such as mental health
crises, facilities concerns and conduct violations
• Serve as the sole conduct administrator for the International House working with the students to
develop restorative sanctions and learning outcomes
• Provide mediation for roommate conflicts and other issues that arise in the International house
between roommates, residents and staff
• Engage with prospective international and domestic students who are interested in either the
International house or the Chicago Center
• Work with students and faculty regarding intercultural competency and cross-cultural
engagement.

• Co-Directed planning and execution of an annual 3-day retreat for first-year students
• Facilitate five one-hour leadership development meetings with student-leaders discussing small
group facilitation, Title IX and Servant leadership to student-leaders
• Supervise six senior “Captains” who are the liazon between student leaders and retreat director

understand the logistics of the retreat, review Title IX requirements and understand how to
